We've been using EOS C70 for the past two years to shoot our documentary films in a all types of terrains including mountains & deserts; in temperatures ranging from -15 degree C to 50 degree C; & have seen great results in terms of colour science, user interface, ergonomics & it's high quality slow motion capabilities. 

Unlike, conventional shoots where we relatively have better control over things, shooting in the wildlife poses several obstacles that keep us from canning the visuals we need. Thereby making it inevitable for the crew to have filming gear of high standard. Canon has been a reliable partner so far in Aves Creations' pursuit of unique visual storytelling. Also, it was a curious journey for Aves Creations where we developed our own novel workflows with Canon EOS C70 on the field, especially to tackle unexpected weather conditions.

The gracious mountain that Key Monastery is situated in sits at an altitude of 4166 metres above sea level in Spiti Valley. One of the most historically significant places for Tibetan Buddhism, Key Monastery is an architectural marvel. Watching the evening sun from here as it was slowly descending was an energizing view. Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh is filled with culturally crucial places like this that in many ways are so foreign to other landscapes in India.

And assists in the Directorial team of a documentary about Climate Change by .Kamaraj does all primary coordinations with managing our office in Peelamedu, Coimbatore. Hailing from Pazhaverkadu near Chennai, his art is heavily influenced by the sub-cultures of his native landscape. He has primarily worked as a video producer for the past 7 years including projects in digital & television. He is an ardent reader and is especially interested in Dalit Literature.

Field Diaries:
The people of Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh are as gracious as its picturesque landscape. Their livelihoods in its hamlets lie on a strong sense of community and harmonic existence with nature. A dominantly Buddhist district, the elemental core of their living is their indigenous intelligence. We the filming crew of Aves Creations were treated with utmost kindness and respect while we shot our documentary episode for about a week here.
