An initiative to bring world class running events to the city beautiful and the neighbourhood and make the runners feel important and cared for!

The Daily World Marathon event is being organized on 31st March, 2024, at the Capitol Complex, Chandigarh by the Daily World Newspaper. Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Shri Banwarilal Purohit will be the Chief Guest at the occasion. The event will have chip-timed Marathons -- Full (42.195 KM), Half (21 KM) and 10 KM as well as 5 KM fun run. A large number of dignitaries expected to attend the

Daily World Marathon that is being organized in association with the Chandigarh Administration. In the past, all four marathons were flagged off by the Hon'ble Governor of Punjab and the Administrator of UT Chandigarh. T-shirts for all participants. Medals for all finishers. Prizes worth Rs 10 lakh in various categories for different events. Picturesque and flat routes, mild weather and fabulous arrangements. It’s once again going to be a Gala event with cultural and musical shows and bands in attendance.
