With Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla and officials from the Delhi & District Cricket Association, he attended the match between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Later, Sonam Kapoor shared some pictures on Twitter.

Apple's two flagship stores in India were inaugurated by Cook on Tuesday (April 18) in Mumbai BKC, and on Thursday (April 20) in Saket, Delhi.

Twitter Blue, which costs USD 8 via the web and USD 11 via the in-app payment on iOS and Android, is the only service that verifies blue checkmarks for individual Twitter users.
Blue ticks have been removed from verified Twitter accounts of many Bollywood celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, as well as politicians Yogi Adityanath, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and cricketers Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Twitter announced earlier that it will remove the verified check-mark status of notable accounts that were verified before Elon Musk's acquisition unless they subscribe to Twitter Blue or Twitter Verified Organizations.
A blue tick was originally intended to protect well-known individuals from impersonation and false information.

The winner of Femina Miss India World 2023 was Rajasthan's Nandini Gupta, who was crowned at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium in Imphal, Manipur, on Saturday (April 15).
Sini Shetty, winner of Femina Miss India 2022 in Karnataka, crowned Nandini, who will now represent India at Miss World 2024.
As a first, the grand finale of Femina Miss India was held in the Northeast region.

| After UPSC, ChatGPT Fails JEE Advanced Exams
OpenAI's chatbot ChatGPT has failed to clear yet another competitive exam.
This time it was India's top engineering entrance exam-JEE Advanced. Earlier it also failed to clear civil service examination- UPSC prelims.
Only 11 questions were answered by ChatGPT on the JEE Advanced exam, according to reports.
Additionally, ChatGPT received a score of 45% in the NEET medical entrance exam. In the fiercely difficult National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET), where applicants must respond to at least 180 of 200 questions, ChatGPT, however, attempted all 200 questions, and its performance score was 359 out of 800, reported media.

The Government on Wednesday (April 12) decided to provide Rs 25,000 each to over 11,000 dancers, instrument players and master trainers involved in the mega Bihu performance to enter the Guinness Book of World

Records.

This was informed by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday (April 12).

Addressing a press conference in Guwahati, CM Sarma also said that the Bihu dance performance for the Guinness Book of World Records at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati will be performed on Thursday (April 13) from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

However, the mega bihu programme at Sarusajai stadium

will be held as per the scheduled time on April 14, where

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present.

The grand Bihu dance performance has been organized in order to globally showcase the Bihu dance of Assam as a mascot of cultural identity and life of the Assamese people.

This event would feature more than 11,000 performers/Bihu Artists in a single venue, and would attempt two new Guinness World Record in the category of largest Bihu dance performance in the world in a single venue and another will be the largest dhulia (drummer) ensemble.

"The Guinness World Record attempt for the Bihu dance performance will be held on April 13 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm and it will be certified on April 14 in the presence of PM Modi," CM Sarma said..

The entry of people in Sarusajai Stadium will be free for all on April 13 and no pass is required for entry on April 13. However, entry inside the stadium on April 14 is open only for the invitees and persons carrying the government issued passes for the mega Bihu programme, CM Sarma informed.

NEWS | Centre Advises States To Be Ready For COVID-19 Management

The Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya advised state health ministers and principal secretaries/additional chief secretaries on April 7 to be on alert and keep all preparedness for COVID-19 management.

He asked the State Health Ministers to conduct mock drills of all hospital infrastructure on 10 and 11 April 2023. He also asked them to review health preparedness with district administrations and health officials on April 8 and 9, 2023. The Minister has requested States to identify emerging hotspots by monitoring trends in ILI/SARI cases and sending sufficient samples for testing of COVID-19 and Influenza; and ramping up whole genome sequencing of positive samples.

India has witnessed a steady increase in COVID-19 cases with the average daily cases rising. According to the Health Ministry data on April 7, India reported 6,050 updated COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours taking the total active cases to 28,303.



However, 88,503 daily average cases have been reported globally, with the top five countries contributing 62.6% of global cases in the last one week.

It was also observed that eight states report high number of COVID-19 cases in India with 10 or more districts reporting more than 10% positivity in Kerala, Maharashtra and Delhi. In addition, over 5 districts reporting more than 5% positivity in the states of Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Haryana.

VIRAL | Harry Potter May Be Launched as Web Series

Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. is close to finalising a contract for an upcoming TV series based on Harry Potter's bestselling books, reported Bloomberg.

The insiders, who declined to be named because the agreement hasn't been made public, stated that each season of the series will be based on one of JK Rowling's seven books, indicating years of original material from the well-known stories, said a Bloomberg report.

Rowling's books, many more than 500 pages long, would be explored in greater detail by the writers. Prior to a two-part film based on the last novel, Warner Bros. successfully adapted each of the seven books into a film.

According to reports, the author will be involved in the series to ensure it stays true to her original writing. However, she won't be in charge or the main creator of it.
