What if you fall into a Black Hole? 🤔🕵️🔭✨
Stepping through the Event Horizon you still see complete darkness below your feet and the universe far above.
The light that has already fallen into the Black Hole cannot come back and reach your eyes and in fact you would not see the light from your own feet or indeed your own nose.
Being a little more specific for you, it would be as if your body no longer existed, you would feel like two immersed eyes falling into darkness.
But something strange starts to happen...
Light that falls on the event horizon after you still moves at the speed of light relative to you.
So if you look up if that even makes sense at this point.. you still see the universe from the outside.
In an ideal non-rotating Black Hole you would simply go to the center of it until the difference in gravitational force between different parts of your body would tear you apart and this is called "Spaghetification".
But fortunately, this Black Hole where we are entering has rotation and that changes things a lot because as we walk to the center of the Black Hole the rest of the universe becomes bluer and is concentrated in a smaller region of our vision and as a result of that the darkness grows around us around.
