*Five injured in Baramulla road accident*

*Three shifted to GMC Baramulla*

Srinagar, Jan 05 ( DBN) : Five persons were injured in a road accident in the Kreeri area of North Kashmir Baramulla district on Friday.

An official told news agency that an accident took place at Dolipora Kreeri between Auto bearing Registration No. JK05A_8066 and Alto bearing Registration No. JK05G-1462 in which five passengers got injured.

He said that all of them shifted by locals to SDH Kreeri for treatment from where three were shifted to GMC Baramulla.

In this regard case FIR No. 02/2024 U/s 279,337 IPC registered have been registered in the concerned police station and further investigation has been taken .

19-Year-Old Youth Shakes Darveshbagh Pattan By ending his life

Baramulla, 20 Sep : A 19-year-old youth, Tabish Ah Dar, residing in Darveshbagh Pattan, took his own life by hanging himself at his family residence.

Tabish Ah Dar, the son of Mushtaq Ah Dar, was a student in Class 12th. According to his family, Tabish entered his room early in the morning and tended his life by hanging himself. The news of this shocking incident has left the entire community in grief.

Meanwhile, Pattan Police Station lodged an FIR and initiating a thorough investigation.

Court quashes PSA detention of Moulana Dawoodi and Moulana Veeri

The High Court of Jammu Kashmir quashed the detention of Moulana Abdul Rashid Dawoodi and Moulana Mushtaq Veeri under the P***c Safety Act on Friday afternoon.

The court has directed the officials to release the duo who were detained in September last year and later lodged at Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu.

Baramulla Police recovered missing girl from Kunzer Baramulla; Abductor namely Nazim Ahmad Kumar of Mulgam Kunzer arrested
On *24/07/2023, one person (name withheld)* lodged a written complaint with *Police Post Palhallan stating therein that his daughter (name withheld) aged about 17 years* was missing from home since 23/07/2023.

To this effect, *case FIR under relevant sections of IPC was registered at Police Station Pattan*.

During the course of investigation it came fore that the missing girl has been abducted by some unknown persons.

Further investigation and with the help of technical evidences it came forth that one person namely *Nazim Ahmad Kumar S/O Abdul Razak R/O Mulgam Kunzer* has abductee the missing girl.
On this, *Police Post Palhallan* swung into action and consequently a team was constituted who proceeded towards Kunzer and missing girl was recovered. The accused have also been arrested in the instant case.

After completing the *legal formalities, the abductee was handed over to her legal heirs*.

Investigation of the case is going on.

*Sister Dies of Heart Attack After Hearing About Brother's Death in Tangmarg*

Baramulla, 23 June: In an unfortunate incident that took place in Magalpora Tangmarg, a woman died after she heard the news about her brother's death in Mattan area of Anantnag after a box of mirror fall on him.

As per reports reaching to KNB, 30- Year-old woman identified as Fahmeeda allegedly died of heart attack after came to know about her brother's death.Her brother has been identified as Abdul Rashid Yatoo.

However, the Fahmeeda was shifted to sub district hospital Tangmarg but doctors declared her death on arrival.

*TEACHERS FORUM APPEALS AUTHORITIES TO ALLOCATE EXAM CENTRES IN JAMMU, KASHMIR FOR CUET EXAM*

Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum has appealed the authorities to allocate two separate centres in Jammu and Srinagar cities for CUET exam aspirants. In a statement issued by Forum chief spokesperson Mr.Javid Ahmad Bhat quoting the forum president Mr Mohd Shafi Rather said that National Testing Agency (NTA) should give due consideration to the demand of the students to relocate their centres to Jammu & Srinagar. Mr Rather appealed the lieutenant Governor Administration to intervene and take up the matter with NTA so that students heave a sigh of relief. Notably, National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct an entrance test for admission to various undergraduate courses in central universities and other participating varsities.

5 injured after being bitten by jackal in Sopore's Tarzoo

Sopore, May 11: At least 5 persons were injured after being bitten by a jackal in Tarzoo area of Sopore in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Thursday.

An official said a fox appeared in the village and bit at least 5 persons.

He said that soon after the incident, the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. "The condition of all the injured is stable," he said.

The locals, however, alleged that they had already informed the department concerned about the wild animal roaming in the area but no action was taken.

Meanwhile, wildlife officials have advised the residents to stay cautious while working in orchards or areas where wild animals roam freely.

*Driver dies, three others injured after big stone falls on sumo in Kishtwar*

Srinagar,April 21:- A driver lost his while three others were injured after a big stone fell on sumo in Kishtwar district on Friday evening.

A senior police officer told that accident took place on Dachan road when one big stone fell on Sumo in which driver died on spot while three persons were injured.

He said that all three were shifted to district hospital Kishtwar where condition of one is said to be critical.
