A team of four students, Talagang, from Jamia Baitussalam, has qualified for the finale of the biggest tech fest of Turkey named Tekno Fest.

The team topped the category of Technology for Humanity-Social Innovation and got a score of 87 out of 100 points.

The finals will take place in Istanbul from 22nd - 27th September 2020.

This is how a Madarasa should keep a balance between teaching deen and technology, so that our youth would be able to serve the religion as well as make the country proud in their respective technological fields.

1. Punjab govt Pakistan made it compulsory to teach Quran with translation in all of Punjab's universities.

2. Now, National Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution on Monday to make it compulsory to teach Quran with translation in higher education and universities across the country and the degree wont be awarded otherwise.

3. The resolution says that Pakistan is a Islamic country and all the arragments should be made to teach and understand Quran with translation.

And obviously, non muslims will be exempted.

The men have turned their face away from the woman (Ghair-Mahram). This was often the tradition in Caucasus (Qafqaz) in order to stop the bloodshed. When a woman felt the danger of casualties amongst the different clans, she would often enter among the rival fighting crowd of men. Whilst entering she would take off her head-covering, out of respect for the woman, the men would turn their eyes downwards and move away. This would eventually cease the fight.

The concept of dignity, chivalry and the extreme respect for women stemmed from both religious and traditional values. Women utilised this to help save many lives as well as bloodshed in the past.

UAE is about to launch its first spacecraft to Mars soon. This will be the Arab World's first ever interplanetary mission.

Sarah Bint Yousuf Al Amiri is the chairperson of the UAE Council of Scientists and Deputy Project Manager of the Emirates Mars Mission.

Sarah is also the Minister of State for Advanced Sciences in the UAE Cabinet.

Arabs have changed, from not letting their women drive to having women handling space missions.

Do you know why Kiswah (Cover of Ka'ba) is raised during Hajj?

According to Haramain official sources, its because there's a lot of crowd near Ka'ba in Hajj days and it is almost impossible to control people damaging the Kiswah. People damage Kiswah in different ways.

Some people bring with them scissors and cut parts of Kiswah and take it away to keep it as memory or some cut it due to superstitious beliefs that it causes barkat.

Some people write their supplications on Kiswah thinking that they would be answered if written on it and some people even write their names to mark attendance on Holy Ka'ba.

So, the Kiswah is raised upto 3 meters to keep it safe and away from the reach of people!

Know that cutting Kiswah and taking it away is a theft, writing names or anything on Ka'ba is a kind of disrespect and all these are sinful acts.

May Allah guide us all!

Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

Muhammad: The Messenger of God is a 2015 Iranian Islamic epic film directed by Majid Majidi and co-written with Kambuzia Partovi.

Development of Muhammad: The Messenger of God began in 2007 and Majidi wrote the first draft of the screenplay by 2009.

By 2011, a colossal set created in the city of Qom near Tehran was ready for the majority of the film. Several scenes were filmed in South Africa. Throughout the filming process, Majidi worked with a team of historians and archaeologists for the work on accuracy of the early life of Prophet Muhammad. Post-production works began in Munich during late 2013 and were completed in 2014. The cinematography is done by Vittorio Storaro and film score is composed by A. R. Rahman.

In February 2015, Egypt's Al-Azhar University called on Iran to ban the film. According to the University, the film describes debasing of the sanctity of messengers from God.

Saudi Arabia's Grand M***i, Abdul-Aziz ibn Abdullah Al Shaykh condemned the film, stating that "the film depicts the Prophet in an 'untrue light'" and "undermines the important role he plays in Islam. The film stands a mockery of the Prophet and a degradation of his status.

The Saudi Muslim World League (MWL) had also denounced the movie on account of scenes characterizing the body and figure of the Prophet.

In India, Barelvi Raza Academy issued a fatwa against the film director Majid Majidi and film score writer A. R. Rahman. The Raza Academy also demanded a ban on the film.

There are some negative qualities such as hate and anger, which results in violence and dejection, which are indeed our weakness, we sometimes succumb to the designs of our enemy that is, the devil.

We should try to stabilize our thought process in-order to fight with it. "Don't be angry" or at-least "Do not express your anger".

The main weapon against anger is always avoid being too sensitive to provocation and whenever you get angry remember Allah and pray for help.
