Did you know that a book called What Every Man Thinks About Apart From S*x, which contains 200 blank pages, unexpectedly became a bestseller in 2012? Students bought it as a notebook, and it even outsold Harry Potter on Amazon.

β’ He is Rakesh, who lives in Mumbai and also owns a vintage book stall where he gives out books to people for a rent of ten rupees every day.
β’ When asked if you can earn more than that, he replied with something that clearly defines the avid reader, his answer was 'When people earn, they spend more on the things they want. I'm already surrounded by the things I've always wanted.'
β’ To me, Rakesh is one of those lovers who is away from the unnecessary worries of life, just doing the one thing that makes him happy.

π Book: I Remember Loving You And other poems to make you think, cry, heal.
βοΈ Author: Shravani P.T. PT Shravani
π Blurb:
I Remember Loving You is a collection of poems that dives deep into the many layers of human emotions standing choc-a-bloc against numerous struggles and demons characteristic of this mortal life; a complex pathway involving both the head and heart that we must navigate, even if we do not know all the rules of how to do so. But mostly, it is about living, loving, losing, failing, crying, and dying, to re-emerge from the depths of this chaos. And finding succor, courage and a glimmer of hope even in the midst of...life.
βοΈReview:
Ingeniously structured and so incredibly engaging; this novel is as ambitious as its heroine!
This is the origin story of Ulka- the first of many from the Superheroes of the multiverse and is a compelling read.
I don't graze a lot of superhero stuff, but this book kept me hanging- on a rock edge cliff. I hope the next book is waterproof, I would see myself dipping from this cliff to the ocean. It's that good.
Going back to the plot, the city of Swarna- our heroine has a power untried which is meant to save the planet of course- don't look up- an incredible thing from the sky that is going to wound the world and dine it to pieces and will Ulka be able to protect the world
b r e a k: a thriller romance novel by Priya Nayak-Gole Priya Nayak - Gole
Riveting, brutal, and beautifully told . This book is Intellectually honest. Priya grabs words, mixes them with emotions, and blends them to give what I consider one of the best literary works of an Indian writer. Itβs not easy to find the quality of literature amidst the number of books getting published. This book is a rare find. The prologue starts with tragedy, Priya talks about how life will shatter you, break you, and promises that this book will break you too- but only to make you stronger. The cliche is what breaks you makes you stronger. isnβt it? The story is woven elegantly with braids of character development through 6 years past and now. The starting chapters promise to juggle you through the midst and mist of time.
so seamlessly, it needs so much research about crime and investigation. Check this interview where she talks about her book research.
Priya brings the essence of South India with her mentions of Coimbatore and Upma. What I loved about this book is that the detailing is kept subtle and that is indeed an Art.
The protagonist Rewa with her pain of losing a child and then her disappeared husband starts the tale. The suspense is on. Flashback, Rewa is one of the most popular hostage negotiators and falls in love with Rohan Sethi, a police officer.
Rewaβs characterization is one of the beautiful aspects of this book. How can a strong female yet fragile inside, full of confusion and trust issues sort her life? This is the building block of characterization and the author has absolutely nailed it. The scenes of intimacy will tingle you for sure. The pregnancy aspects and senses were well described. Overall, the book will give you a feeling that everything has been kept honest, no funky or exaggeration.
Book Review:
Of fireflies and Love ( A collection of poems) By Sadhana Wadhwa
Blurb:
Β Poetry - a magic created when raw emotions get words to be expressed in.
If you let them, they have this power to weave this magic around you, cloaking you in the depths of their meanings and transporting you to another place, even if for a very short time.
"Of Fireflies and Love!" is one such expression of emotions - some raw, some refined, many hurtful but also blissful.
Review
Its a short coffee break book so I would keep my critique short and will finish this while the coffee is hot. Firstly I adore the raw fervour author has put in this poetry book. The book commences with the poem 'Alone' which has its own cadence and fresh feel. The poet is rebellious enough to rhyme and then unrhyme. Periodically the poem is all about making candid experiments. And thus we find a mix of intricacy in simplicity.
As the book progresses, the poetry gets more intriguing and profound. One of my favourites would be the poem 'Haunting'. How can someone be so pure and still torment you? If you want to relish these poems and looking for a small cute read, this one is for you.
Great job Sadhana!

Author Interview- Priya Nayak Gole
1. What prompted you to write your book 'Break'?
Break was an episodic story written on my regular writing platforms and it was greatly appreciated by my readers who persuaded me to publish it
2. How did you come up with the research for the book, primarily on crime branch investigations
I have a friend who knows someone in the Crime branch and the rest I read up. It took a while but was worth it.
3. How should someone shatter the shackles of loneliness without breaking self?
We can be our best company... we need to unleash our potentials and passions. The pandemic has taught us that.
4. What literature works have enlightened you to write?
There are many but I am a huge fan of Sandra Brown and James Patterson.
5. What are you working on presently?
I am almost done with my second novel. Since I am going for traditional publishing this time the criteria is stringent so am tying up loose ends.
6. What's the most vital aspect of life, according to you?
live and let live... value what you have. Thank God for every new day.
7. How did yoga help you be a better writer?
Yoga helped me cope up with aches and pains and streamline my health concerns. So overall it paved way for me to think clearly and focus better.
