ರಾಮನವಮಿ ವಿಶೇಷ/Rama Navami recipes/karbujada paanaka/neeru majjige/bellada panaka/kosambari
Ingredients to make kosambari:
Moong dal 1 cup
Chopped cucumber 1 cup
Minced green chilli and ginger 1 tsp each
Coriander
Salt
Sugar 1/2 tsp
Lemon 1
Fresh coconut 1/2 cup
For tempering:
Ghee 1 tsp
Mustard 1 tsp
A pinch of Asafoetida
Curry leaves
Broken red chilli
To make bellada panaka:
Powdered jaggery 1/2 cup
Water approximately 3-4 cups
Cardamom,black pepper & dry ginger powder
Salt a pich
Lemon 2 nos
To make Muskmelon juice
Chopped muskmelon 2 cups
Powdered jaggery 1/2 cup
Water approximately 3-4 cups
Cardamom,black pepper & dry ginger powder
Salt a pich
Lemon juice
To make Neeru majjige:
Fresh buttermilk 3-4 cups
To crush and make a coarse paste if ginger,green chilli,coriander and asafoetida
