Mohammad Akbar Lone Sahab is a paragon of all known and unknown beauties .
His name lent strength to the downtrodden and crestfallen people of Sonawari during difficult times.
He empowered people and motivated them to raise their voices for their rightful claims.

His position and influence belonged to the people who elected him, and he dedicated his life to their welfare.
His political maturity was deeply aligned with the needs of the less fortunate.

Although Lone Sahab has been unwell for some time, he never, however, fails to ask visitors about the well-being of the people whenever they inquire about his health.

A leader like him is born only once in a blue moon.

May God bless Lone Sahab with good health. Ameen!

Had been so courageous back then to say what our honourable CM Sahab says in the video - we wouldn't have been struggling for statehood and other things now.
However, they toed a different line to pave the way for the BJP into J&K.

Adv. Hilal Akbar Lone, MLA Sonawari, inaugurated a cooperative fruit parlour in Hajin town.
During the event, Lone Shb interacted with departmental officers and urged them to implement the schemes available for the people.

At the town hall in Hajin, he delivered a compelling speech vis-a-vis the department's programs, and people were pleased to hear about the initiatives being introduced and described to them by their honorable MLA .

Adv. Hilal Akbar Lone, (MLA Sonawari) inaugurated the "Common Facilitation Center" for wool and pelt value addition in Hajin Sonawari today, alongside the director of the Sheep Husbandry Department.

In comments to various media houses, Lone Sahab stated that the center will assist individuals who raise sheep in the Sonawari region on end.

He was accompanied by the Block President of Hajin and Ishaq Bin Nabi, the district media in charge of Bandipora to the occasion as well.

Adv. SAHAB, our honourable MLA for Sonawari, engaged with the people today at his residence in Naidkhai.

Lone Sahab was surrounded by people from all directions, reminiscent of the fervour of election campaigning.

Men and women from all walks of life in the Sonawari Constituency came together to voice their grievances. Lone Sahab listened with genuine interest and compassion, addressing many concerns on the spot and issuing letters for others.
Our salutes to Lone Sahab for his unwavering dedication as a loving and caring leader.

Adv. Hilal Akbar Lone, (MLA Sonawari) visited the Community Health Centre (CHC) Hajin today to inspect the goings on there.
He met with patients and reviewed every detail of the hospital.

He was accompanied by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Sonawari and the Block Medical Officer (BMO) of Hajin.

Following his visit to the health centre, he also toured various departments including the Power Development Department (PDD) and Animal Husbandry.

Lone was joined by the Block President of Hajin and the District Media charge, Ishaq Bin Nabi.

Jenab Mohammad Akbar Lone Sahab - I am at a loss for words to say a word about him; where would one borrow the words from to throw light on what Lone Sahab was and is?

Lone Sahab spent his life/health in building Sonawari. Sonawari would have been, like it was before lone Sahab, a barren; desolate place where people trudged and struggled to make ends meet.
The basic needs water; electricity and jobs were a dream to Sonawarians, however, as Lone Sahab came onto the scene, like a messiah, Sonawarians breathed into the winds of freedom and prosperity.

He came down from the skies like a messiah and put an end to the problems and predicaments of people.

And, therefore, Sonawarians still say we are because of Lone Sahab and Sonawari is the result of his unwavering efforts and qualities.
Sonawari is a paragon of perfection because of Lone Sahab.

Moreover, Lone Sahab stretched his influence outside the boundaries of Sonawari, therefore, people, not only Sonawarians, say that there will be no one like him.

However, his son (our honourable MLA) Adv. Sahab is leaving no stone unturned to uphold the legacy of Lone Sahab and fill the big boots that Lone Sahab has left for him to fill.

"I understand the emotions surrounding the reservation issue. JKNC had committed to examining all aspects of it in our manifesto released before the assembly elections. It is as a continuation of this commitment that a cabinet sub-committee was constituted to move towards fulfilling this promise. That sub-committee was only recently notified & is in the process of starting its work by engaging with all stakeholders. In the mean time the reservation policy has also been challenged in the Hon’ble High Court of JK&L. We will, of course, be bound by any judgement when the final legal options have been exhausted.
It has come to my attention that a protest is being planned in Srinagar to highlight the sense of injustice surrounding the reservation policy. Peaceful protest is a democratic right & I would be the last person to deny anyone that right but please protest knowing that the issue has not been ignored or swept under the carpet. Your government is doing what any responsible government would do - making sure everyone is heard & a fair decision arrived at after completing due process."
