Adv. Hilal Akbar Lone, (MLA Sonawari) inaugurated the "Common Facilitation Center" for wool and pelt value addition in Hajin Sonawari today, alongside the director of the Sheep Husbandry Department.

In comments to various media houses, Lone Sahab stated that the center will assist individuals who raise sheep in the Sonawari region on end.

He was accompanied by the Block President of Hajin and Ishaq Bin Nabi, the district media in charge of Bandipora to the occasion as well.

Adv. SAHAB, our honourable MLA for Sonawari, engaged with the people today at his residence in Naidkhai.

Lone Sahab was surrounded by people from all directions, reminiscent of the fervour of election campaigning.

Men and women from all walks of life in the Sonawari Constituency came together to voice their grievances. Lone Sahab listened with genuine interest and compassion, addressing many concerns on the spot and issuing letters for others.

Adv. Hilal Akbar Lone, (MLA Sonawari) visited the Community Health Centre (CHC) Hajin today to inspect the goings on there.
He met with patients and reviewed every detail of the hospital.

He was accompanied by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Sonawari and the Block Medical Officer (BMO) of Hajin.

Following his visit to the health centre, he also toured various departments including the Power Development Department (PDD) and Animal Husbandry.

Lone was joined by the Block President of Hajin and the District Media charge, Ishaq Bin Nabi.

Jenab Mohammad Akbar Lone Sahab - I am at a loss for words to say a word about him; where would one borrow the words from to throw light on what Lone Sahab was and is?

Lone Sahab spent his life/health in building Sonawari. Sonawari would have been, like it was before lone Sahab, a barren; desolate place where people trudged and struggled to make ends meet.
The basic needs water; electricity and jobs were a dream to Sonawarians, however, as Lone Sahab came onto the scene, like a messiah, Sonawarians breathed into the winds of freedom and prosperity.

He came down from the skies like a messiah and put an end to the problems and predicaments of people.

And, therefore, Sonawarians still say we are because of Lone Sahab and Sonawari is the result of his unwavering efforts and qualities.
Sonawari is a paragon of perfection because of Lone Sahab.

Moreover, Lone Sahab stretched his influence outside the boundaries of Sonawari, therefore, people, not only Sonawarians, say that there will be no one like him.

However, his son (our honourable MLA) Adv. Sahab is leaving no stone unturned to uphold the legacy of Lone Sahab and fill the big boots that Lone Sahab has left for him to fill.

"I understand the emotions surrounding the reservation issue. JKNC had committed to examining all aspects of it in our manifesto released before the assembly elections. It is as a continuation of this commitment that a cabinet sub-committee was constituted to move towards fulfilling this promise. That sub-committee was only recently notified & is in the process of starting its work by engaging with all stakeholders. In the mean time the reservation policy has also been challenged in the Hon’ble High Court of JK&L. We will, of course, be bound by any judgement when the final legal options have been exhausted.
It has come to my attention that a protest is being planned in Srinagar to highlight the sense of injustice surrounding the reservation policy. Peaceful protest is a democratic right & I would be the last person to deny anyone that right but please protest knowing that the issue has not been ignored or swept under the carpet. Your government is doing what any responsible government would do - making sure everyone is heard & a fair decision arrived at after completing due process."

Adv. Hilal Akbar Lone Sb. the dedicated MLA of Sonawari, convened an important review meeting alongside MLA Nazir Ahmad Gurezi SB representing the scenic Gurez region, and MLA Nizam Ud-Din Bhat SB, the Alliance candidate for Bandipora.

This meeting aimed to thoroughly assess the progress of several key development schemes that directly impact their constituents.

The atmosphere in the meeting was one of collaboration and purpose, with the Deputy Commissioner of Bandipora present, along with a team of relevant officers.
They listened attentively as the elected representatives articulated the challenges and grievances faced by the community, reflecting a shared commitment to fostering positive change and development.

The people of Hajin Block expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Shb for making this project a reality for them by speeding up its progress.

Adv. Sahab ( MLA Sonawari) held a public Darbar today at Nowgam Sonawari, which was also graced by the worthy Deputy Commissioner Bandipora and other officers from all concerned departments.

The people at the Darbar expressed their grievances and concerns before Lone Sahab and DC Sahab and Lone Sahab made sure that all the concerns expressed by the residents of Nowgam were noted by the officers concerning their respective departments.

Lone Sahab spoke about certain issues and assured the Nowgamiyans that the water crisis, in the coming days, will end and if the department does any negligence in providing them water; he will, along with the people, sit on the roads for them.

People were on cloud nine to see officers before them who they had to visit for a month at their distant offices.

Advocate Shb (MLA Sonawari) visited Sumbal Sonawari today, where residents had held a protest yesterday regarding issues with transformer and electric poles.

Lone Sahab engaged with the people, listened carefully to their grievances, and approved the installation of transformer and electric poles wherever necessary on the spot.
People appreciated Lone Sahab’s prompt response to their concerns and his initiative to reach out to them rather than waiting for them to come to his office.

Adv. (MLA Sonawari) visited several areas in Sonawari today that were recently included in the constituency during the delimitation process.
The residents of these areas were surprised and delighted to see an elected representative visit them; they had never had the opportunity to interact with someone they had voted for. Lone Sahab’s visit and willingness to listen to their grievances helped to alleviate the political disillusionment they had developed towards politicians.

Additionally, Lone Sahab visited various places in Sonawari like Hajin to offer condolences to the media in-charge of Bandipora, whose grandfather-in-law had passed away the other day .

JKNC was supposed to speak over the LG's address today. However, the BJP enacted a drama and stooped to hullabaloo and hooliganism and did not let the house run. It is deplorable that the BJP isn't letting the house run to address the issues of the people. However, JKNC is adamant about addressing the plight of the people in the house and fulfilling the promises that the party has mentioned in the manifesto. (MIDIA INCHARGE.)
