Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Fazle Rabbi Chowdhury said in the speech of the President, "You are the stake holders of maintaining peace and order." Those who are associated with this project work to reach these issues at school and college level. Even at the union level, people of all races should be present and this information should be conveyed. They have to understand that there is no benefit in conflict. If there is a conflict in any area of this upazila then I think PFG people will come forward first and I request you to create so much connectivity that you go to the place where there is a possibility of conflict and work to stop the conflict.
The speakers said, there is no peace if harmony among us is destroyed. We need to build relationships. If we can spread this issue among common people in different places like markets, mosques etc. then it will work.
We were born in this country, we will live in this country. So we will continue to try to live in peace. The fact that PFG has leaders from different factions means tolerance. This harmony will exist if we have political dialogue and religious dialogue as much as possible. So that, whatever happens, we can be united in the affairs of the country. I appreciate this activity.
Shantiganj Tharan OC said, we are talking about communal issues when we say harmony, but there is a lack of harmony even among our Muslims. It looks like there may be conspirators inside. You may have to go the route of dealing with psychological reasons. Those of you who work in schools, colleges or madrasas have to do the work of purifying the seeds. From there they need to be humanized. Congratulations and wish you visit. You will keep in touch with us, help us with information, we will also help you.
In the afternoon at Shantiganj Point, Shantiganj Peace Facilitator Group PFG and Shantiganj police station organized a harmony rally to avoid political, religious and ethnic violence and maintain inter-religious harmony.
Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Akram Ali along with members of political parties, religious leaders, PFG members and common people addressed the meeting. # #
