AWJA *dissolves* βExecutive Bodyβ, appoints 4-member committee for conducting fresh elections

The Anantnag Working Journalists Association (AWJA) on Monday dissolved the βExecutive Bodyβ of Association and appointed a four member committee for holding fresh elections.
The members of AWJA met here at Wazirbagh Anantnag and discussed a range of issues and matters related to the association. In the meeting, the members unanimously decided to dissolve the executive body of the Association which completed its term on 28th of February 2020.
A four member committee was also constituted for conducting fresh elections in the month of March. The members of election committee including Mr Zahoor Ahmad Rizvi, Mr Mudasir Qadri, Muneeb-ul-Islam and Mr Deen Imran. The committee has been mandated to prepare electoral roll, issue election notification and conduct the election in a free and fair atmosphere before the fresh financial year of the Association commences.
In the meeting, the members also requested the previous body to present the balance sheet in the next General meeting of the Association.
Those who attended the meeting include, Zahoor Rizvi, Mudasir Qadri, S Tariq,Fida Hussain, Saahil Suhail, Fayaz Ahmad Lolu, Muneeb-ul-Islam, Aarif Rashid, Deen Imran, Sameer Kashmiri, Asif Shafi, Mrs Gazala, Aman Malik, Sajad Kullar, Javed Ahmad, Arif Wani and Mir Ishfaq.
Members who gave their consent to above mentioned decision telephonically include Mr Sajad Munwardi, Tariq Ali Mir, Khalid Dar, Rouf Wani, Sameer Mushtaq, Rayees Ahmad, Khalid Muntazir, Gulzar Ganie, Irfan Khan, Arif Baloch, Bilal Veeri, Naveed Bhat, Zakir Ahmad and Junaid Lolu.
