The Chief Minister told reporters in Guwahati that,' on the day of the incident, in the name of carrying food articles to the evicted family, the members of Popular Front of India (PFI) visited the site. As of now, various evidence is emerging implicating certain people including one lecturer from one college of Assam has also visited the site. The government is enquiring about the matter in detail because eviction was done against 60 families. It is yet to be ascertained from where those 10,000 families have come. Once the judicial enquiry starts, we will have a lot more explosive information,”.
The extremist Islamist group Popular Front of India (PFI) was involved in last week's violence during an eviction drive in Assam's Darrang district, visuals of which have sparked nationwide outrage, Chief Minister said .
Five of the six persons accused by Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa of instigating violence in Sipajhar on September 23 have rejected the claims.
The government has clear evidence that a certain group of people collected Rs 28 lakh in the past few months from the poor people there saying they will convince the government against eviction. We have those names. When they could not resist the eviction drive, they mobilised the people and created havoc...we have the names of six people who were involved," Chief Minister Sarma told media persons
According to the report, the six persons are Abdur Rahman Biswash, vice president, All Assam Minority Stunts Union (AAMSU); Ainuddin Ahmed, advisor, AAMSU; Jiarul Hoque, president, Darrang Ittehad Front; Nur Islam, president, state Ittehad Front and Sariful Islam, president of CFI.
It all started when the Assam Police undertook drive to clear 77,000 bighas of land and evict the Bengali-speaking illegal Muslim settlers in the region.

The New Delhi Railway Station RFP was called for on 27/10/2008. Who was the PM then? Who was the FM? I would ask Shri Rahul Gandhi, who, when he thought one of the ordinances was so outrageous, he tore it up in front of the media. Did he tear this RFP call?
Was this not monetisation? And if it was monetisation, did they "sell off" the New Delhi Railway Station? Does Rahul Gandhi understand what monetisation is?
Congress can say "you are selling off the country"; that's something they are very good at. They sold air, water, land, mines, and made a lot of kickbacks with it. In the Monetisation Pipeline, there is no change of ownership.
