మే 13న ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో పోలింగ్ జరిగింది.

ఈ ఎన్నికలలో వైసీపీ ఒంటరిగా పోటీచేయగా.. గత ఎన్నికలలో వేర్వేరుగా పోటీ చేసిన బీజేపీ, టీడీపీ, జనసేన పార్టీలు ఈసారి కూటమిగా బరిలోకి దిగాయి.

వైసీపీ 175 సీట్లలో పోటీ చేయగా.. ఎన్డీయే కూటమిలోని తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ 144, జనసేన 21, బీజేపీ 10 అసెంబ్లీ సీట్లలో పోటీ చేశాయి.

మరో కూటమి 'ఇండియా'లో భాగంగా కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ 159 సీట్లు, సీపీఎం 8, సీపీఐ 8 సీట్లలో పోటీ చేశాయి.

ఏపీ అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో ఈసారి రికార్డు స్థాయిలో పోలింగ్ నమోదైంది. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా 81.86 శాతం పోలింగ్ నమోదైందని ఎన్నికల సంఘం వెల్లడించింది.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో మొత్తం 175 అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గాలు, 25 లోక్‌సభ నియోజక వర్గాలు ఉన్నాయి.

సుమారు 4 కోట్ల 14 లక్షల మంది ఓటర్లు ఉండగా, 46 వేల 389 కేంద్రాల్లో పోలింగ్ జరిగింది. సుమారు 3,33,40,333 మంది ఓటు వేశారు. అంటే 80.66 శాతం ఓటింగ్ నమోదైంది. పోస్టల్ బ్యాలెట్, హోం ఓటింగ్ కలిపితే పోలింగ్ 81.86 శాతానికి పెరిగింది.
