Overwhelmed by Chaos ? Solve using my 5Ps
Do you feel overwhelmed with the no of jobs to be handled ?
📌 Overwhelm is a form of fear which comes under the umbrella of ‘not knowing where to start’. When your dream is big, there are so many things you need to do to achieve it that the realization that you have ‘so many things to do’ itself becomes scary.
📌 You get stressed, frustrated, burnt out and you procrastinate.
📌 I apply My 5 P formula to handle Overwhelm
📌 First P : PAPER :Put the goal and all tasks and things which need to be done on paper.
📌 Second P: PIECES : Chunk them into pieces or break them into steps, or tasks to be accomplished. When you list down, you will be able get all necessary things required for completion
📌 Third P : PRIORITIZE: Prioritize based on urgency, timelines, ease of doing, importance and so on.
📌 Fourth P : PLAN: Plan and schedule them in the calendar as monthly or weekly goals. This will depend on the nature of Job/ Project / Task
📌 Fifth P : PROCEED with Action and tackle them to complete the job.
📌 For prioritizing, make a list of all things you need to accomplish and note them on Paper,
Assign a rating for each – Easy, Medium, Hard
📌 Take out items marked as ‘Easy’ and do them and , you start to gain confidence. At this stage, take out the items marked as ‘Medium’ and start them.
📌 By the end of the duration, this furthers builds confidence that equips you to tackle the ‘Hard’ items.
📌 If you are familiar with the steps, then you can list all the steps and prioritize based on which activity precedes other and so on. Plan for all the steps required to take the Job to completion and schedule them on the calendar

1. Paper: Put things on paper.
2. Pieces: Break into pieces or Chunk big tasks.
3. Prioritize: Focus on what matters.
4. Plan: Create a roadmap.
5. Proceed: Take action
