Overwhelmed by Chaos ? Solve using my 5Ps
Do you feel overwhelmed with the no of jobs to be handled ?

📌 Overwhelm is a form of fear which comes under the umbrella of ‘not knowing where to start’. When your dream is big, there are so many things you need to do to achieve it that the realization that you have ‘so many things to do’ itself becomes scary.

📌 You get stressed, frustrated, burnt out and you procrastinate.

📌 I apply My 5 P formula to handle Overwhelm

📌 First P : PAPER :Put the goal and all tasks and things which need to be done on paper.

📌 Second P: PIECES : Chunk them into pieces or break them into steps, or tasks to be accomplished. When you list down, you will be able get all necessary things required for completion

📌 Third P : PRIORITIZE: Prioritize based on urgency, timelines, ease of doing, importance and so on.

📌 Fourth P : PLAN: Plan and schedule them in the calendar as monthly or weekly goals. This will depend on the nature of Job/ Project / Task

📌 Fifth P : PROCEED with Action and tackle them to complete the job.

📌 For prioritizing, make a list of all things you need to accomplish and note them on Paper,
Assign a rating for each – Easy, Medium, Hard

📌 Take out items marked as ‘Easy’ and do them and , you start to gain confidence. At this stage, take out the items marked as ‘Medium’ and start them.

📌 By the end of the duration, this furthers builds confidence that equips you to tackle the ‘Hard’ items.

📌 If you are familiar with the steps, then you can list all the steps and prioritize based on which activity precedes other and so on. Plan for all the steps required to take the Job to completion and schedule them on the calendar

2. Pieces: Break into pieces or Chunk big tasks.
3. Prioritize: Focus on what matters.
4. Plan: Create a roadmap.

1📌 Mirror exercise is a powerful confidence building exercise to replace the negative self-talk with positive, self-affirming self-talk. Stand in front of a mirror & appreciate yourself aloud for all that you accomplished during the day by saying your name, your achievements, personal disciplines you kept, temptations that you did not give in to etc and so on .Perform this for min 40 days

2. 📌 Maintain a Success journal with all accomplishments and read them regularly to boost your confidence. Write Down 20 Things That Make You Feel Good

3. Prepare, Practice, and Perfect: Identify areas where you lack confidence and practice until you feel more confident.:. Practice makes one perfect. Practice can be truly beneficial, because in addition to building your confidence, it also improves your quality.

if you lack confidence in presentation skills , take up a challenge of doing it daily for 30 days. This way , you will start gaining and building your confidence. If you lack writing skills , take up a writing challenge and do it for 30 days and see how the same improves

One of my clients told me he rehearsed all night before a critical client call — yet froze the moment questions were fired. His technical expertise wasn’t the problem. His nerves stole the spotlight.
High-stakes conversations demand composure, not perfection. Here’s my C.A.L.M. Framework to handle them with confidence
✅ C – Clarity: Prepare 3 key points, not a 10 page long script. The brain remembers better in threes.

✅ A – Awareness: Notice your body cues , sweaty palms, fast heartbeat Just ground yourself with 2 slow breaths. Slow your breathing before you speak , it signals calm to your brain

✅ L – Listen Actively: Instead of rushing to answer, pause, nod, and reflect back. This shows authority.
✅ M – Mindset Shift: Focus on the shared outcome of the conversation, not on whether you’re being judged.

Your audience isn’t looking for flawless words. They’re looking for confidence under pressure. That’s what leaders project.
