ISRO का बहुप्रतीक्षित मिशन चंद्रयान-3 इतिहास बनाने से बस कुछ कदम दूर है. चंद्रयान-3 का लैंडर विक्रम चांद की सतह पर उतरने के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है और ये 23 अगस्त को सेफ लैंडिंग करेगा. इसके दो दिन पहले लैंडर ने चांद की हैरतअंगेज तस्वीरें भेजी हैं. चंद्रयान-3 ने लैंडिंग से पहले लैंडर हैज़र्ड डिटेक्शन एंड अवॉइडेंस कैमरा (LHDAC) का इस्तेमाल करके इन तस्वीरों को खींचा है. ये तस्वीरें चांद की सतह के दक्षिणी ध्रुव पर उस जगह की हैं, जहां पर चंद्रयान-3 के लैंडर विक्रम की लैंडिंग होने वाली है. From Pulwama to Poonch, from Kulgam to Kathua, from Jammu to Srinagar, all houses in 20 districts are celebrating and hoisting the Tricolor, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said.

A massive ‘Tiranga Yatra’ was organized by the administration of Lieutenant Governor (L-G) Manoj Sinha in Srinagar on Sunday. He described it as a reply to those who said no one would unfurl the flag after the reading down of Article 370 in 2019, an indirect reference to speeches of former Chief Minister Mehbooba M***i.

“Let us walk together, let our hearts beat together, this is the resolve of ‘Tiranga Yatra’ that binds every section of society in one emotion. From Pulwama to Poonch, from Kulgam to Kathua, from Jammu to Srinagar, all houses in 20 districts are celebrating and hoisting of Tricolor,” the Lt. Governor said.

The L-G administered the Prime Minister’s ‘Panch Pran pledge to the public representatives, officials, and citizens who attended the function at SKICC.

All government departments in Kashmir had issued special instructions to their staff to be part of official functions and display the Tricolour on the occasion of Independence Day. Officials are directed to use the flag as a display picture on their social media accounts. Teachers have been directed to sing the national anthem on camera and share the videos on official websites.

In a directive issued to 11 higher secondary schools in Srinagar, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir asked principals to attend a function at the Shere-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) on Sunday “by or before 6 a.m. along with whole staff positively.” “All should carry the national flag with them,” it reads.

Hundreds of employees and locals on Sunday attended the yatra from SKICC to Botanical Garden in Srinagar. Such rallies were also held at the district level in other parts of the Kashmir valley too.

“Tiranga is in every hand today. This is what every Kashmiri yearned for. The huge participation is a big reply to those who once claimed that none in the Valley would pick up the Tricolour,” Mr. Sinha said.

He was referring to Ms. M***i’s speech made in 2019 where she warned against abrogation of Article 370 and stated that no one would raise the flag if the special status was ended.

Meanwhile, Ms. M***i on Sunday shared two pictures on X (formerly Twitter), with a caption that reads: “Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru with the tiranga standing tall amongst a sea of enthusiastic Kashmiris at Lal chowk Srinagar circa 1949. LG administration carrying the same national flag surrounded by a posse of security personnel in 2023.”

Kashmir is back to normalcy: J&K Chief Justice

Justice N. Kotiswar Singh, Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, participated in a rally near Srinagar’s iconic clock tower in Lal Chowk and termed the response of people to these rallies as “Kashmir returning to normalcy”.

“Tourist footfall has increased and has been the highest in decades, which shows that people want to come and see this place. Kashmir cannot be seen anymore as a troubled place and more stability and development will come to this place,” Justice Singh said.

Overall situation peaceful: DGP Dilbag Singh

Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh, who also spoke at a Srinagar rally, said that the massive participation of locals in the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ was a welcome development.

“Overall situation is very peaceful on all fronts in Kashmir. Efforts are still on from across [the border] to misguide the youth through social media. The number of terrorists is minuscule. This year successful operations were conducted on the LoC in which a large number of infiltrators were killed,” Mr. Singh said.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Mallikarjun Kharge slammed the Centre, citing a media report which claimed that 19 All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are facing a shortage of doctors and other staff.

New Delhi: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday alleged the Centre has rendered the country's health system "sick" with even AIIMS facilities grappling with staff shortage, drawing a sharp rebuttal from Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Mr Kharge slammed the Centre, citing a media report which claimed that 19 All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are facing a shortage of doctors and other staff.

"Loot and jumlas have made the country unhealthy. The government claimed that it has set up many AIIMS. The truth is that our AIIMS are facing a severe shortage of doctors and other staff," the Congress chief said in Hindi.

"Mr. Modi, from apathy during the coronavirus pandemic to scams in Ayushman Bharat...your government has made the country's health system sick," Mr Kharge alleged.

"The people have been awakened, your deceit has been recognised and the time has come for your government's farewell," he added.

In a series of posts on X, Mr Mandaviya countered Mr Kharge, saying while only one AIIMS was opened during the Congress' rule, 15 are being opened under the Modi government.

"Respected Kharge ji, our intentions are pure and clear..!! I hope you will understand the reality. One AIIMS was opened during the Congress' 50-year rule. Six AIIMS (were opened) during the tenure of (former prime minister Atal Bihari) Vajpayee ji and 15 new AIIMS are being opened during the tenure of Modi ji," the minister said in Hindi.

"It is expected that you will also try to understand that according to the requirement of AIIMS, phase-wise recruitment has been done from time to time when new departments opened," he said.

Prime Minister Modi has distributed more than 5 lakh appointment letters to the youth of the country at 'Rozgar Mela', he said, adding these were given on the basis of merit and not nepotism.

Mr Mandaviya asked Mr Kharge to tell the citizens of the country about any achievement of the UPA in the health sector.

"The country understands very well the failure of the UPA era and the way efforts are being made to mislead it at present.

"The Modi government has opened new AIIMS and we will also recruit people, you just keep watching and giving us suggestions," the minister said. Read More:
