19 killed in bus ditch from Padma Setu Expressway
At least 19 people were killed and at least 25 injured when a Dhaka-bound passenger bus fell into a ditch in Madaripur's Shibpur upazila.

Many of the injured are in critical condition. The police say that the death toll may increase.

According to the police, the Imad Paribahan bus left Khulna for Dhaka at 4:30 in the morning.

It then lost control on the expressway at Kutubpur area of Shivchar before Padma Setu.

The bus broke the railing of the expressway and fell into the ditch. The front part of the bus was completely twisted.

Local people say that this is the biggest accident on the expressway after the Padma Bridge was opened.

🇧🇩History as Tigers whitewash world champions England:

Bangladesh bowlers held their nerve defending the 159-run target, restricting England to 142 to complete a historic 3-0 series whitewash against the world champions in the third and final Twenty20 international in Mirpur's Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium Tuesday.
🏏Before England, Bangladesh only managed to whitewash Zimbabwe, Ireland and United Arab Emirates in their T20I history.

🏏Defending 158/2, Bangladesh made a brilliant start with the ball as debutant left-arm spinner Tanvir Islam got the wicket of Phil Salt (nought) in the very first over.

🏏Two wickets in consecutive balls and both the set batsmen's dismissals put the momentum back to Bangladesh and Tigers bowlers grabbed the opportunity with both hands to create more pressure for the out-of-form England middle order.
🏏Eventually, Bangladesh bowlers kept their composure to make England fall short by 16 runs.

🏏Bangladesh earlier posted 158 on the board after Buttler won the toss and elected to field first.
