The B-side spot the B-side spot is a weekly spot on the "Synthesize me" radio show, hosted by Manfred Thomaser (!dis welcome to "The B-side spot" page. hope you'll like it.

we are Manfred Thomaser and Oren Amram. first of all, you probably ask yourself what this is all about, right? well....
The terms A-side and B-side refer to the two sides of 45 rpm records, as we know as "7" or 12" singles". The A-side usually featured the main single song, the one that the artist or the record company intended to receive radio airplay, hopefully, to become a "hit" record. The B-s

ide (or "flip-side") is a secondary recording that has a history of its own. B-sides are usually songs that do not appear on the actually album that the A-side appears on. some kind of a drop-out track that was considered not good enough to be on the album. on this page we will prove to you that it isn't true at all. there were many B sides that we found them as good as the A side, if not better than the A side.. these days, we have Compact Discs and digital downloads, which do not have "sides", but the terms are still used to describe the type of content, with B-side sometimes standing for "Bonus" track

on our weekly spot we will tell you many interesting facts about the B sides and will play a few of them. feel free to let us know about interesting B sides, and we will feature them on future spots.
