This week on Around The Shabbos Table Ahron Wohlgelernter and Rabbi Jeff Wohlgelernter answer some questions we've been getting regarding current Israeli politics. This isn't a political breakdown but rather a lesson in how to act as a religious Jew even in politics.

There is a requirement in the Torah to always be pleasant as it says- its ways are ways of pleasantness and all its way are of peace.
We break down what it means to be pleasant and how far this mandate goes.

EP 15. Around The Shabbos Table

We take a look at the clip from NBC's nurses which depicts a Chasidic boy and his father refusing an opportunity to be healed because the leg would come from a non-Jewish woman.

You can watch the clip here: https://twitter.com/i/status/1364330312734568448

The interesting thing here is that this conversation of how we portray ourselves is not just how the media looks at us but also how we look internally as a nation as well.

This was brought to light by Jonathan Rosenblum's article from a few weeks ago.

You can read the article here:
https://mishpacha.com/whatever-happened-to-kiddush-hashem/

How we act is sometimes how the world sees us and sometimes that's no so good.

What can we do about it?
