Postcards from Hostages Square in TLV tonight 🎗️
In each red heart it says "I came back" ❤️

1) Mural by of the five female observation soldiers released from captivity this past week.

2- 4) Keith Siegel, American-Israeli hostage who was kidnapped from his home in Kibbutz Kfar Aza.
He was released today, after 484 days in captivity.

Yarden Bibas, who was kidnapped from his home in Kibbutz Nir Oz, after fighting terrorists to protect his wife, Shiri, and their sons Kfir and Ariel. They were kidnapped, and their fate is unknown.

Arbel Yehoud, also from Kibbutz Nir Oz, was kidnapped from her home with her partner Ariel Cunio, who is still held in captivity. Her brother, Dolev, was murdered by terrorists as he was treating the wounded.

5) Graffiti reading, "Sorry, Hersh. We'll never forget you."

Hersh Goldberg-Polin z"l, a vibrant music lover, was kidnapped from the Nova Music Festival. He was murdered in a horrific tunnel in late August, after surviving 11 months in captivity.

Hersh was on the list of hostages to be released in the hostage deal drafted in May.
He could have, and should have, been saved.

This deal must be completed, phase by phase. All of the hostages must come home, and this war must end.

1) The infamous "Uprise" sculpture by Israeli artist Menashe Kadishman, located in Tel Aviv's Habima Square, covered in yellow fabric knitted with hostage solidarity ribbons 🎗️
This project was a collaboration .omer.home father Malki, Israeli multi-disciplinary artist , and .

2) Yamit Ashkenazi speaking at a hostage support rally at Shaar HaNegev Intersection in Sderot. Her sister and best friend, Doron Steinbrecher, was kidnapped from her home in Kibbutz Kfar Aza on October 7th.
Their father holds a photo of Doron, holding back tears.

3) A patio lounge chair in Kibbutz Ruchama covered in a t-shirt with two members of Kibbutz Nahal Oz's Idan family.
Maayan Idan z"l was murdered while holding her family's safe room door shut with her father, Tsachi Idan. Covered in his first-born's blood, Tsachi was kidnapped from his family home in front of his wife Gali, and two of his children. tsachi.home

4) A burned chair from the home of Ofer Kalderon at the table set in Hostages Square in Tel Aviv.
Ofer Kalderon was kidnapped, beaten, from his home in Kibbutz Nir Oz with his two youngest children, Erez and Sahar. Both were released last November, and have since been fighting and aching for their father's release.

5) A teddy bear wearing a leopard print ribbon and a t-shirt with "Romi" embroidered on it for hostage Romi Gonen .romi.home.

6) November 7, 2024: Yoav Gallant was dismissed from his position as Minister of Defense. Protesters chant "Bibi's a traitor!" in Democracy Square, Tel Aviv.
One of the protesters holds a sign reading,

"We can't go back to usual as long as they're there.
We're all hostages."

And it's true. For 408 days, Israel has been aching for the return of all of our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Held in the most cruel, inhumane conditions, at the hands of terrorists.
Nothing is back to normal... Until they come home 🎗️

The nuances and intricacies vis-a-vis anti-semitism, in general and post October 7, the presence of the Holocaust, and the effect of multiple generations of Muslim immigrants has had on Dutch society.

Anti-semitism isn't new to the Netherlands.
