His studio apartment in Southern Tel Aviv, is full of synthesizers, analog equipment and musical instruments; music is, and has always been, his passion in life. DJ Kobb brings a unique integration of musical knowledge, accumulated over years of experience, perfect pitch and technique which corresponds with pioneers of Detroit Techno. With a career spanning more than a decade, Kobb has a plethora
of releases under his belt in labels including Asymmetric Recordings and Plattenbank. His debut EP, released in May 2010, instantly resulted in growing recognition, with numerous DJs ranking it in their TOP10 lists. In 2012, Kobb released multiple tracks on labels such as Dopamine and Mirabillis, which garnered a lot of attention. New releases, reflecting Kobb's current musical direction, will be released soon on Whose Hause & Dopamine Labels. Despite his impressive repertoire and intensive studio work, Kobb sees himself first and foremost as a DJ. Devoting hours of preparation before playing his sets, Kobb believes "each track has the power to turn the atmosphere in a completely different direction, and that with the right combination of segments, special moments can be created… I love finding those perfect transitions, through which I get to create the impeccable sound waves". Nowadays, Kobb is in the midst of completing his debut album, planned to be released in the coming months. Kobb has played in renowned clubs which host high caliber international DJ's on a weekly basis, such as the Block, Bootleg, Cat and Dog and more.
