Aaron was in good company with Award-winning visual artist, filmmaker, and founder of Immersive Ireland, Linda Curtin. And Ryan McKenna, an award-winning Indie filmmaker specialising in virtual production.

UNSINKABLE NOW SHOWING IN WATERFORD....

To round off a 12 month international film festival tour, 'Unsinkable' is coming to home to Waterford. 15 Official Festival Selections, 8 Countries and 5 Awards later, we have the pleasure to say that Garter Lane Arts Centre is hosting 2 limited showings on the 21st of April and 6th of May.

Unsinkable tells the story of Waterford man, Alan Corcoran (AKA 35 Marathon Man), who swam the length of Ireland from The Giant's Causeway in Antrim, finished in Tramore, Co. Waterford.

As an intro we will be also showcasing a number of fantastic sea-swimming themed short-films from around the world. Unsinkable will take centre stage followed by a Q&A session with Alan himself and the film production team (only at the 21st of April showing).

Our film 'Unsinkable' with 35 Marathon Man won Best Documentary at the Prague International Film Festival. Fitting award seeing that Karolina (Alan's partner & support kayaker) is from the Czech Republic. While Alan swam the length of Ireland, Karolina kayaked the length of Ireland! Well done team!

Minister Simon Harris TD visited the WWETB Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board last week, where WWETB's John Cassidy, Joss Power and Barry Madigan demonstrated Emagine's Virtual Reality NZEB simulator to be used in retrofit training.

Dragon Slayer Wooden Sword Ireland

Located in Waterford, at 23 metres long, the record breaking 'Dragon Slayer' by Special Branch Carvings is the largest wooden sculpture in the world! We did a 3D scan of this amazing piece of art and produced a ULTRA-high resolution version to share with you. This 640 Megapixel file created from our 3D model allows you to zoom right in and see the story of Vikings in Ireland told panel by panel. Click the link below to explore... Dara Fitzpatrick Memorial Run at Waterford Airport

Saturday 16th Sept saw the first Dara Fitzpatrick Memorial Run at Waterford Airport, a fitting tribute as it was used by Dara for the 10 years she served with Rescue 117 at the Airport. Well done to the 1000 runners who took part (and discovered that runways are not flat :-)) Emagine were proud to keep an eye from the sky!!
