An incredibly gutsy run by Sinead Kane at the 24 hour European Championships in Verona, last weekend. Plenty of ups and downs over the course of the 24 hour event but she finished on a high and completed the 184 kilometre distance with sprint!! Sinead will feature in a forthcoming documentary produced by Cojo Films.

Crossing the finish line! Sinead Kane was part of the Irish team at the Anglo Celtic Plate 100km race on Sunday. Not only did she complete the 100kms in a personal best time of 9 hours 41 minutes but somehow managed to sprint the final few hundred metres. The Anglo Celtic Plate event was held in Perth, Scotland, and saw teams from England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and Ireland competing against each other for the men's and women's titles. Sinead ran with several guide runners and helped the Irish women's team to a bronze medal. Cojo Films was on hand to film Sinead for a documentary which will also follow her as she attempts to run 250kms across the Sahara Desert later this year at the Running For Good Ultra. A big shout out to all the organisers, volunteers and supporters who attended the race on Sunday and congratulations to Sinead for another inspiring result. sineadkane.ie runningforgoodultra.com
