BREAKING TEAM NEWS … 2023 Jr. World Champion, Thomas Maturano ( ), joins for the 2025 season and beyond. Thomas’ first appearance on his new Marshal SR71 Blackbird is coming fast … in fact, keep an eye out for him tomorrow at the UCI C1 Open in Alicante, Spain!

Thomas told us the impetus for the move to Marshal was “mainly the people and the affection I have always had from this family, with whom we have already shared moments together. Lionel has always treated me well and that is the best thing I can have! And I am also very happy to use this incredible new bike that Marshal has created.”

Lionel Ribiere, the man behind Marshal, is thrilled to have Thomas join them, “For a year now, we have focused our efforts on building a team of young talents, who will be the future of our BMX. Thomas, whom we met during the 2023 Grands, immediately won us over with his talent, but it was above all his personality and his values that convinced us to integrate him into our team! We share with him a common passion for BMX and a vision of the sport that goes well beyond pure performance. He is an exemplary athlete, both talented and respectful of the rules. We are delighted to welcome him to the Marshal Racing family. To mark the arrival of Thomas Maturano to the team, we collaborated with him and his father Fabricio to create a limited edition of the ‘Maturano’ bike. This unique bike, in the colors of Argentina, will be his faithful companion in his Olympic quest. This exclusive model will be unveiled at the end of March.”

We expect Thomas will be with Marshal through the LA 2028 Games at least … but before that he has a lot to tick off his list, “My next challenges are the European Cups, the World Cups and the World Championships, all of which will lead me to continue fighting and adding points for the Olympic Games”.
