Blue Dot Catchments Programme -

One of my largest projects to date, one was involved with over the last 12 months, was documenting the Mayo Blue Dots. These are rivers that maintain a high status and pristine conditions for freshwater insects and other creatures that inhabit them.

I will have shared my learnings with you on the release of a Video through LAWPRO and the Council,

Keep tuned, I will be sure to share it and hopefully you guys learn some helpful advice from it.

I am currently in the process of design my own personal project from what I have learned, visiting all the many communities and interviewing people who have been looking after these water catchments.

Wow !!

I am absolutely chuffed and proud to see still images I captured on display at this scale at the Electric Skyline offices here in Claremorris,

I was hired to travel to many sites where Electric Skyline installed public lighting solar panels and charging stations,

We then collaborated to design this End piece what you see displayed on the wall

It’s the largest I have seen any of my images printed and I’m very grateful for this opportunity from a local business in Claremorris

Galway Weir Bridge Images Showcasing the Public Lighting Installed by Electric Skyline I captured these images using long Exposures to minimise the movement of people walking over the bridge and to really showcase how important the lighting is for users, and of course the Beautiful Backdrop of the Galway cathedral.

This Still will be used for Brochures and showcasing for the business the work Electric Skyline carry out

Really Excited for the Launch of Mayo Blue dots

This is a project I worked alongside Local Authority Waters Programme over the last 12 months and being given an opportunity to capture and learn so much throughout our filming Listening to great stories from people and all the great work that has been carried out by communities all across Mayo, and for me to design a Film to help showcase and educate an audience across the county & Ireland.

I really enjoyed this Project, by being involved with the booklet and video and I have taken some Learnings from this production working alongside a great team at LAWPRO, I am looking forward to share with you all,

It will be launched at Toormakeady this Saturday, I will have a link to share with you all in the coming week

🔵 We are delighted to be kicking off with a launch of an Arctic Char mosaic art piece by artist Annaliese Brown along with a Mayo Blue Dots booklet and film.

The mosaic will be unveiled at 11am this Saturday 18 May at Lough Mask by Cathaoirleach of Mayo County Council Cllr Michael Loftus 🐟

Dr Fran Igoe of Local Authority Waters Programme will give a presentation on the rare species Arctic Char. There will be light refreshments available in Tourmakeady Community Centre afterwards and the first screening of the new Mayo Blue Dots film 📽️

Rory Best Walked across Ireland in aid of Cancer fund For Children This film we captured his arrival to Cong and turning the first sod of the new sight, fantastic day down there during the summer and a lot of energy and excitement in the iconic village

Really happy with how we celebrated culture night in claremorris on Friday evening well done to all in our committee making it happen, and especially everyone that came along to attend Market square and have the atmosphere and place buzzing with life, the food was absolutely delicious, and all the different styles of music and performances through the night were very special,

I Have a YouTube Video Out, A video showing you some landmarks to visit around Mayo I recorded this off the cuff I explain in the video with me attempting to speak to the camera,

I enjoyed putting this together I have gone through a lot of editing recently for client work, and sometimes I find you have to be in a certain place for editing so usually working on a project like this gets me into that gear,

I know it's a little rough around the edges but happy to share it than just leave it on my hard drive and get second thoughts not putting it up anywhere instead.

Such an amount of work has been carried out down at kiltimagh getting the Velorail ready for it's launch here is a piece we made showcasing the the experience people had on the velo rail on its trial run, some more clips to show you all soon ,

Last week I had an opportunity to visit Belmullet in hopes of seeing the Hump back whale, we had no joy finding him, but we did enjoy such a great evening I had just missed my original boat but luckily enough I got talking to a group the Geraghty family that were going out on their restored Rig (I have some drone footage that I will share with you soon) These are some of the photos I captured in the evening getting such a nice evening for the tour around Belmullets northern coastline coming right into Eagle Island, Which has so much history in itself hopeful I will get a local to speak to me about it some time, we came in at a different pier I really got such a nice tour and evening, I will 100% be returning to belmullet this summer again, really enjoyed taking this Snaps
