Histories and Humanities Journal In 2009, the Classical Society, History Society and Archaeological Society came together to found the Histories and Humanities Journal.

The Histories and Humanities Journal is a student-run journal from Trinity College Dublin, which publishes essays on various topics under the themes of History, Art History, Classics and Archaeology. This journal, now in its fifth year, provides an opportunity for students to display their essays in a high-quality publication. We are asking every student - undergraduate and postgraduate - in the D

epartment of Histories and Humanities to consider submitting an essay to us. The journal is divided into four sections: History, Classics, Archaeology and Art History. Your submission can be on any topic you wish, from Pompey to Monet, from the Holocaust to Plato. Anything and everything is welcome, as long as it is well-written and interesting. We welcome and encourage essays previously written for courses as well as essays written especially for submission. We are looking for varied and interesting essays of a maximum of 2,500 words in length. Please send your submissions to: [email protected]
