According to Paddle Your Own Kanoo, crew members seeking a special Christmas bonus for those working on December 25th had to plead their case. Ultimately, senior BA managers at the Heathrow base reluctantly acquiesced, begrudgingly offering a meager £30 (US $38) as a special payment for cabin crew on duty during Christmas Day.
