Up this week is a story about a big dream that manifested over the course of 8 years. What began as a simple need for a relatively small space to store a piece of art equipment turned into a renovated warehouse and….. I’ll let Nancy Fischman of Fischman Gallery in Johnson City, TN tell the details. She continues to create community for local & regional artists and citizens through diverse programming. What a retirement plan!

New greens and blooms everywhere!
Show opens with uplifting song-
Catie Curtis / The Way You Love Me;
Maia Sharp / Kind - then veers off toward songs about knowing when to leave- The New Respects / Rich, Olsen / Time to Go, Lori McKenna / You Can’t Break a Woman,
Carrie Newcomer / Learning to Sit With Not Knowing. Winds around to an easy close with music and lyrics to inspire.
Shout out Maia, whose intercession helped secure a ticket to Bonnie Raitt at Tennessee Theater, thankfully a stop on her current Just Like That tour. What a pleasure to witness both Bonnie and Maia in concert as well as to see their evident respect and admiration for each other. Live music in real time: can’t beat it!
