Maeve Edwards writes about the fleeting beauty of the cherry blossom which has inspired poets since the beginning of time. A young Malawian man tells his very moving story. He spent three years in prison for a crime he did not commit, before receiving a Presidential Pardon in 2023. He is now an undergraduate at the Malawi University of Business thanks to the support of generous benefactors in Ireland. Education and life are intertwined. Education brings people together and changes lives. You, our readers and subscribers are also changing lives. The Most Rev. George Desmond Tambala, Archbishop of Lilongwe, will ordain the two Deacons to the Priesthood.

At the same function, St Kizito Parish will celebrate its Golden Jubilee since its establishment in 1975. We are all invited to this auspicious occasion.
