Our Story

Lean As When Studio

Lean As When Studio is a modern and fully equipped recording studio in Cork City. We provide high quality music and audio recording as well as a full production, mixing and mastering service. We offer live music video recording with live audio recording of up to 18 tracks as individual stems. This is perfect for live performance videos or live gig recording. We also provide guitar lessons, live sound engineering and Sean is available as a musician for hire, both in live and studio settings. At Lean As When Studio we aim to provide a friendly, professional and reliable service. We cater to all needs and strive to create a comfortable atmosphere to nurture the creative sides in us all.

Lean As When Studio was established by Sean Whelan, an expert in the audio production industry. Sean has been a musician all his life and is a qualified and experienced sound engineer, music technologist and producer. Sean is also an experienced guitar tutor and musician.

Lean As When Studio is fully equipped with the most modern and professional equipment including microphones, pre-amps, di boxes, mixing desk and everything that’s needed to provide a full recording and production service. We only use top of the range equipment at Lean As When Studio to ensure that the end result is of the highest possible quality. As well as a complete recording and production service, we also provide a mobile recording studio service. We can bring our professional studio to you, wherever you are in Cork, Waterford or the surrounding areas.
