Happy Mother's Day!
We are very excited to welcome back violin extraordinaire Diamanda La Berge Dramm alongside her mother, Anne La Berge, for an unforgettable late-evening performance at NMD 24. Taking the illustrious Diatribe Records Stage, they'll showcase a musical family history unlike any other - an impossible, rousing mix of electro and songs.
Anne and Diamanda are leading exponents of contemporary classical music as solo performers. Their collaboration, AWAY, draws together Anne’s passion for the extremes in both composed and improvised music, and her work as a multimedia performer, with Diamanda’s practice as one of the foremost contemporary violinists, singers and composers of her generation!

"This stark, poetic work by Irish composer explores the idea of the center—something that radiates outward, socially and culturally, linking communities from a shared heart."

Adjunct Ensemble - Sovereign Bodies / Ritual Taxonomy (DIAPOS043)
Limited Edition Set of Postcards + Digital
Releasing: Friday May 5th 2023
Sovereign Bodies / Ritual Taxonomy is a new work for Irish operatic soprano Amy Ní Fhearraigh - Soprano, spoken word poet Olusanya (Felispeaks), turntablist Mariam Rezaei, jazz punk trio taupe, and electronics. Song and the voice has long been an intergenerational carrier and account of the human population’s murmurations across the earth. Songs, voices, accents, dialects sit at odds with any fixed ideas of taxonomy and purity of place; they sit at odds with nativism. This project sits between song and improvisation.
