I just love how he stands out against the swirling texture inside the dome now. This was defintely a challenging piece to make but i learned a lot from it!

This might not look like much, but its an exciting new prototype that will make my jewellery adapatable! Once i find the right kind of ear wires to go with it this bail design will allow pieces to double as drop earrings or pendants!

Im also going to be stocking more clip on earrings attachments in sterling silver for those of you without pierced ears who still like jewellery. I'll be able to swap out most any piece I make using them 🥰

It's not often i post pictures of me working (because usually i don't have someone to take them!) But yesterday Paul snapped a few pics for me at the Ogham Engraving class that .ie put on with the expert engraver Martin O'Keeffe

The class was my first time touching a graver and i had an absolute blast! I posted some of my practice plates to show how we started out! We did a thing called knurling first which makes fun squiggles! I was trying to do some trinity knots so Martin did the two you see on the plate on their own to show me how not actually overlapping the lines makes it look more cohesive, and you can see I did a whole plate trying to imitate that! Im not quite there with the bright cuts but I'm going to practice until im ready to add the trinity knots to the back of my pendant.

I went for a quite rustic/rough looking pattern around the edge of my pendant since ogham was traditionally done on stone. That worked out in my favour since i wasn't the best at neat lines on the silver 😅

Ogham reads from bottom to top and this piece says Bród, or pride 💖

I would definitely like to incorporate more engraving and ogham into my pieces! This class was actually a birthday gift from my momma, and I think it's one of the best gifts I've ever gotten 🥰

A bit of a PSA for this market in case people aren't aware. By technicality it isn't a scam because there IS a market, but it is not advertised. I've never seen a single post about it unless it was them trying to lure in vendors. They take your money and do nothing to advertise you, or the market, and last time i checked it was €50!! A lot of people i know have been stung by it, sat there for the whole day without a singular sale.

Its gotten to the point where they create a new account every month because half of the sellers i know have them blocked, and then they follow us on the new one they've made and spam us again.

Do not do their market! Youll be lucky to break even and it will disenhearten you so much. If you want a list of markets i know and trust here they are:

Here's some pics of some of the highlights 🥰 including some lampwork frogs, octopi, and dogs! And the big box of gemstone beads ☠️ I need to sort those out 😂

I also got loads of new findings so i can try and make some new stuff, theres bits for keyrings (fortunately thanks to the RIDICULOUS size charms i got), phone charms, bookmarks, and some gold findings! I think I might do those more on request? I'm not sure yet. Those weird fabric straps with the hoop are so you can hang stuff from your phone! They go inside your phone case, which means you can hang off a lanyard etc.

If i can find a stringing material I like I might try and do some wrist straps too!

My wax cast teapot all finished and polished! Made during my classes at @theschoolofjewellery.ie under the guidance of Paul. Love how it turned out, it has a bit of variance to it as it can be a necklace with the handle acting as the bail, or a decorative ornament when the chain is removed 🙂 Photographed with the little scrap bails I was let turn into broken teacups which inspired the pot being my first wax project! The inside is hollow, and we soldered a base on post casting to make it a finished pot.
