Chats and Strats

Hello all! Dave and I have recorded another podcast but the great enemy (real life) got in the way. With my exam done I can now edit the podcast relatively guilt free. It's a doozy.

I did however get my Cadia Stands! box and I have mixed feelings about the Codex.
On one hand, I love the simplicity of it, the relatively easy mix and match of the regimental strats without having to constantly cross refrence regimental locked orders, strats, etc.

I do miss the crunch though. I have an expansive Stormtroopers army and to see all their different regimental playstyles go away saddens me.

I do think overall, however the book is enjoyable, I've got 6 hours of travelling today so I'll be ingesting the lore in that time and probably writing about a 100 army lists.

The Van Saar are all here and ready to go in our Necromunda Campaign. We are starting week 2 now and the gang has grown quite a bit already. No KIA yet, though the Neotek on hover board has spent more time in the Doc's hut than on the board!

Zen Cat as an added bonus. His name is Rocky.

Dave's been hard at work at his Enforcers gang. Especially happy with the yellow. Didn't go with the slapchop method as we discussed in the podcast. These will look cracking on the field, that yellow contrasting nicely with the darker backgrounds.

Also gives my Van Saar a nice target to aim for.

Getting started on my Van Saar gang for the upcoming Necromunda Campaign. Initially wanted to do a Sam Fischer style look but it was, too dark. Threw in some teals and it worked out nicely

I'll post the initial gang composition once they are all painted.

Also working on the terrain they are pictured on. More of that later
