An award-winning social media specialist, I provide social media management services and website design and updates.

Based in Tralee, Co Kerry, I work as part of the Rose of Tralee International Festival management team. In this regard, I have responsibility for the Festival's digital profile, including social media and online content.

Through the Rose of Tralee Festival, I have secured several awards, namely the industry gold award for Best Use of Social Media at the Accenture Digital Media Awards, the Rabo Tweetie Most Popular TV Programme, and Best Social Media Marketing from the Association of Irish Festivals and Events. As a result, we have a healthy following and a visibly active presence on social media.

I have spoken at many conferences and events including the International Business Women’s Conference, delivered workshops and taken part in panel discussions.

Experienced in website design and social media management, I have contributed website content, and built and updated existing websites for clients. The results speak for themselves! See my Clients Page on my website for examples.

Furthermore, I can provide social media consultation, mentorship and support to small businesses and start-ups. In this respect, I have spoken at conferences and presented on social media strategy. I am on the Kerry Local Enterprise Office panel of mentors for social media.

Creative Writing

I have achieved recognition for my creative writing, and am a published novelist. My work has featured in several online journals and anthologies.

Winning the first ever Kerry’s Eye Short Story Competition, I went on to be the only writer in Ireland to take part in the 2014 Twitter Fiction Festival with my story told in diminishing Tweets.

As part of an all-female production team, and the first for Co Kerry, I wrote the screenplay for the short film Silence is Golden. The film was made to raise awareness of domestic violence, and was consequently selected for film festivals and conferences. The four women, including myself, who made the film also took key acting roles in it.
