We left this a few days, but just wanted to give our condolences to the family of Deirdre Staunton.

Deirdre came on to our show twice to both highlight her journey with Lung Cancer and ensure others became aware of what to watch out for, and then to promote the amazing 'Calendar Girls' show which she produced, with all proceeds (over €20k) going to the Irish Lung Cancer Community. Be sure to follow their great work.
Aside from being a guest, Deirdre was a great friend and her funeral showed how many peoples lives she touched in such a positive light.
Her endless energy will live on through those she loved, cared for, coached and directed over the many years from family and friends, to work colleagues and drama/sporting friends!

She will be greatly missed...... ❤️

We had a great chat with Sean Cunningham from the Sligo Welcome Ambassadors programme at Sligo BID.
It is an amazing new initiative to make Sligo a more welcoming place and it’s a great way to give back to the community with a large number of people already signed up. Just 3 hours a month is all they ask.
