I have a lot to be grateful for today for having my husband Ken Coleman and son with me, for always being there through the good times and the bad. For being close, accompanying me, listening to me without judging me and above all for the unconditional love that they always give me. Today I begin a new return to the sun and I celebrate from here receiving the love of my family and friends. Thank you for the lovely messages and calls.

Mixing up colours to keep things fresh and exciting 🎨

Excited to share this new oven glove mock-up! 🧤 I’ve infused it with bold geometric shapes and a playful mix of organic lines, bringing a vibrant and stylish design to a functional item. The quatrefoil motif makes another appearance, adding that touch of elegance ✨.

This is just a mock-up to experiment with how my patterns look on different items, and I’m really enjoying the process! 🎨

I love working with geometric shapes, especially the quatrefoil ✨, which I then embellish with organic lines to create a foil motif. In the Repertoire course by , the tutorials were not only informative but also great fun 🎨, covering the history of pattern design.

We explored different artistic movements, with a focus on the Gothic style for this project. As you may have seen in previous posts, I’ve created a variety of elements inspired by it.

As a designer, I'm always trying to imagine how my creations will look on actual fabric. So, I decided to create some swatch mockups to get a better idea. It was so exciting to see my foulard patterns come to life!

I want to share some of my illustration process working on this Poster for Gort Tidy Towns. I met Jim Ricks in my local Xmas Market at Wickham Way in Limerick last December while I was selling some of my artwork and he was interested in working with me on some illustrations to create a poster to sell. The profits will be directly invested in cleaning projects around the town. We emailed back and forward to conclude details about the project and a couple of months later I went with my husband to Gort and met Jim and we got to discuss more about the ideas and take some photos of the location. Gort is a gorgeous town that has so much to offer! I am delighted to have been involved in creating this poster. Concept: “Keep Our Town Clean” Hand-drawn lettering and illustrations based in Gort, Co.
