I want to share some of my illustration process working on this Poster for Gort Tidy Towns. I met Jim Ricks in my local Xmas Market at Wickham Way in Limerick last December while I was selling some of my artwork and he was interested in working with me on some illustrations to create a poster to sell. The profits will be directly invested in cleaning projects around the town. We emailed back and forward to conclude details about the project and a couple of months later I went with my husband to Gort and met Jim and we got to discuss more about the ideas and take some photos of the location. Gort is a gorgeous town that has so much to offer! I am delighted to have been involved in creating this poster. Celebrating my first 40’s has been a quite good ride!! Even though there is moments in life I have get lost there is lovely humans that make your life better, take care of you and stick with you no matter what. There is so many faces that they don’t appear here in this short reel I am so grateful to have such a great family and friends that always are in my heart. I have to give special thanks to my husband @kenartcorp for such a lovely surprise to gather some of my friends and family even though December is here, and Xmas parties are always in this time of the year and he manage to plan all together. And also to my brother @dani.bernal84 and his family to travel from Barcelona to spend the whole week with us! And my friends to be able to join me from Valencia, and Ireland and all my family in law to be present and take care of me too! Thank you to all involved I am still celebrating! 🤭

Hi guys! I wanted to share some progress... I just finished Module 2 last week and this week I have been working towards Implementation week. Practicing what I have learnt so far. I am doing a course called "Immersion" by @bonniechristine and It has the most amazing community. The lessons and bonus classes are very applicable and have amazing tips to improve on your workflow. I am learning and experimenting different ways to create my own motifs to use them in future and create my own patterns. Using different mediums and exploring different results when they are vectorised on Illustrator, it has been fun!. I have a 20 years of experience as a graphic designer, but I have never used Illustrator de way I have learnt in this course so far! I love how I can recolour my artwork in different ways. I hope you are having a lovely weekend and keep your art skills in progress!

I love going for walks and adventures with my family, my friends or by my own. I do enjoy taking photos of nature. Specially flowers, plants and organic shapes.
