Here we are, guys, today was the last video of the season, now there will be a little break to reset ideas, rest and spend some time with myself until September 16 when the new series will start (without spoilers of course and I promise it will be better than the last one of Game of Thrones ahaha).

I wish you a great summer, full of experiences, love, bonfires and guitars, the smell of the sea, chamois, polenta with sausage, hiking, refuges, friends, music and warm hugs (hopefully in a cold place otherwise I am not sure they are pleasant).

The swedish Lawrence Saga about the trip to Stockholm it's almost over, next week there will be the last video that will be a big recap of the trip with my impressions and thoughts about the travel. The gran finale if you know what I mean! I will tell you everything! It will be amazing! I don't know if it will be out on Monday because Friday I'll be to Celtica the famous festival about folk irish music in Aosta Valley, under the Mont Blanc glacier (new video soon of course 😝), but for sure It will be out next week!
I will never forget this trip and the warmth swedish people gave me, I'm really grateful. I love this culture this country and this city. I can't wait to come back one day to visit and explore more and more! 🇸🇪

Here are the hills of Gamla Uppsala where the Valborg fires are lit on the first day of May, maybe it is just my own suggestion due to my passion for ancient Viking myths, but I can really see Thor with his mighty hammer walking down this path, or Freya with her beauty and her cat-drawn chariot. I have no idea, but when I was here I felt the energy of this place was very strong indeed...

Gamla Uppsala Church was erected on the remains of an ancient pagan temple, here it is said that even Odin had lingered in the mists of time, the Icelandic historian Snorri Sturluson, however had Odin reside in nearby Fornsigtuna, whereas the god Freyr lived in Gamla Uppsala. This is a mystical place where it was said that human sacrifices were even practiced. Pe as far as I am concerned this is a place with really a lot of energy...

Oh no, don't worry it's just the path to lake Vallentuna and this is a real Viking runestone! This is the area of the Jarlabanke runestones areal viking chieftain! As can be seen, there are pagan (the ancient serpent Jormungandr) and Christian (the cross) symbols. How cool is that 😍!?

For the first time in the history of the channel, on Monday there will be a new video about a museum... I'm talking about the Vasa Museum, my favo in Stockholm and completely dedicated to the galleon Vasa, a ship built in the 1600s that sank and was recovered from the depths in the 1950s. Oh yes, it will be difficult, especially as it is a very dark museum, but if anyone knows me, they know I like a challenge!

P.S. It reminds me a lot of the Flying Dutchman, so there're a Davy Johns vibes here 🏴‍☠️😛😛

Some pics of the main street of Gamla Stan, it is amazing to wander around here because it is always full of people from all over the world, here you can find amazing stores like the Viking store, the wool store, or traditional gourmet stores, you can have the traditional fika (coffee break with cinnamon bun), and if you are wealthy or a little crazy you can also go to many restaurants and pubs to eat.
I like the atmosphere of these narrow streets, and do you?

Here are the famous colorful houses of Gamla Stan, Stockholm's Old Town. It is actually very difficult to get a clean shot because the square is always full of people (and sometimes early in the morning someone who has been added to my list of archenemies has parked his van here). I did my best, hope you enjoy it.
P.S. I am in love with Sofia Karlsson's voice and the musicality of the Swedish language, even though I do not understand a word of her songs.

Strolling through the narrow streets of Gamla Stan, Stockholm's Old Town. According to legend, it was founded to escape armed gangs raiding the city of Sigtuna, apparently they took a log, dug it out, filled it with gold and floated it. A few days later it landed on the island where Gamla Stan is today and where they decided to establish the new capital of Sweden. Cool!
