Today, we honor the incredible life and legacy of 'Scatman' John Larkin, who left us on this day in 1999. He was 57.

John wasn’t just a musician; he was a symbol of hope, resilience, and positivity. He turned his stutter - a source of shame all his life - into his greatest strength, by becoming 'Scatman John' at the age of 52.

Through his music, he transformed adversity into power, inspiring millions to embrace their imperfections and find their voice. His message of self-acceptance and authenticity is as relevant today as ever. As soon as John realised his platform's power, he only wanted to use it to help people.

Let’s celebrate the joy he brought into our lives by sharing his music, his message, and the love he stood for. RIP Scatman. 💛🎵
