In a few years time Internet radio stations would need to apply for a licence to the BAI to us this will not work why

1 Not all radio stations have a Irish Ip address all Internet radio stations must commonly have a UK or a EU ip address this will be hard for the BAI to track and trace

2 Internet Radio Stations most of them don't have advertising so most Internet Radio stations will not have the funding required to get a BAI license

3 Listenership

For Internet radio stations Listenership can be very small compared to FM

4 Content

On Internet Radio Station most Shows are prerecorded very few live shows on Internet Radio stations

So BAI leave Internet Radio alone
