Since opening in April of last year the History Channels ‘Vikings’ has completed its first season which is due to air on the 3.3.13.

Ashford Studios is a state-of-the-art, purpose built film and television studio located in County Wicklow, just 40 minutes from Dublin airport and 37km from Dublin city centre providing a diverse range of urban and rural film locations. The studio is set on 350acres and currently consists of 3 stages (12,100sqft, 14,100sqft and 28,500sqft) and all other necessary facilities such as, office space, hair and makeup, costume and art department etc.
