Just working on this taught me a lot on how rigid our property laws are here in the western world, and how much could change with alternative ways of land ownership, relevant especially with our current housing crisis.

I love this commencement speech by David Foster Wallace from 2005. Finding meaning in the mundane and prioritising awareness of the here and now, our environment and the people around us among anything else. Like a fish in water, it's easy to take what physically surrounds us for granted. It's especially relevant now as we get lost in a disconnected digital world.
