Exclusively Premiered 3rd Album EP 'KALA' by on WWW.SAMSTRONGRECORDS.BANDCAMP.COM

Righting Wrong once caught the attention of the Indonesian hardcore public with their two albums, Muda Berbahaya in 2014 and Utopis (2020), which was then followed by the single Malapetaka in 2023. Now they are back with a new mini album entitled Kala.

The mini album Kala contains four new songs in English, namely Kala, Lie, What's A Life and Out Of Control.

Righting Wrong's choice of new material this time is not too far from the hardcore style they previously carried, with a more sophisticated sound of course. The torrent of metallic guitar riffs with heavy sounds, fast beats with a scent of darkness offered by Righting Wrong succeeded in expressing the aura of their anger towards the system like the clash in Lie's song, "system is failure, impartial rules". Also about the irony of a life full of "disasters, engineered by stupidity" which makes "we no longer believe, instigated by the devil of hell".

Kala's recording itself was done at in Semarang city, while the mixing & mastering was handled by one of the national assets in the world of sound engineers, . Is a seasoned engineer based in Tegal who has handled several recordings from many household names in Indonesian music scene such as the hip hop star DPMB, hardcore group Down For Life and almost all Grimloc Records releases.

For the EP Kala artwork department, Righting Wrong handed over control to visual artist, . This visionary artist is known to have a deep appreciation for Asia's rich cultural heritage. With a deep understanding of Indonesian ornamentation, Nalta created a captivating work of art for the Kala album cover that transports us to a world full of unique patterns, bright colors and evocative symbolism.

The KALA mini album itself will be released by Samstrong Records & in 3 different formats, namely CD, cassette tape and digital stores. Meanwhile, to support KALA's promotion, Righting Wrong will travel throughout Southeast Asia.

No human being in this world is pure and has no evil intention when the hell lies deep inside every soul. Haunting by the dread would be an experience for those who snatched other people’s lives. The guilt will rage inside you. No matter how hard you’ve tried to neutralize it, ain’t no self-punishment will erase it. It won't leave, unless you acknowledge the wickedness, embrace the darkness, ignite the hell within you, and kneel to the demon. Sacrifice the one’s soul that you took with your knife brutally. Eat it as if you’ve never tasted something so good. Let the Lord of Darkness consume you like you consume their body, chaotically. And.. that is the visualization of horror and terror in “Hell” MV by SWORN—in a nutshell. Written and directed by Sasongko Guntur Winjoyo, this music video wouldn’t have been finished without the help of Andi Haryanto (Cinematographer), Tunggul Putranto (Lighting), Pilar Adi Pamungkas (Cast) and those who can’t be mentioned one by one.
