Indians' penchant for math, their hobby of tinkering with computers, plus their proficient English skills, certainly make us think twice about underestimating India.
Call it Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, Google, and other giant technology companies. Almost all are headed by Indians. It must be admitted that Indians have dominated the IT field.
Bill Gates was once asked why so many computer engineers are hired from India? la replied: "Because if not, then Microsoft's rival from India is born."
Indians are so happy with mathematics that there is a National Mathematics Day which is commemorated every December 22.

Polyosis is a hair disorder that causes white patches on the hair, scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, and beard. This condition occurs due to a decrease or absence of melanin in the hair follicles. Melanin is a pigment that gives color to hair, skin, and eyes, as well as protecting the body from damage caused by ultraviolet rays.

Polyosis can be caused by genetic factors or other medical conditions. Genetically inherited polyosis is called genetic polyosis, while polyosis caused by other medical conditions is called acquired polyosis. Polyosis is not a dangerous condition, but it can be associated with other medical disorders such as vitiligo, chronic inflammation, or skin cancer.

Since the hotel door is right between the two streets, the city council asked the owner of the Mackays Hotel, Alexander Sinclair, to assign the address of the hotel. Instead of choosing between Union Street and River Street in Wick, Scotland, Sinclair proposed a new street name, Ebenezer Place.
The road was inaugurated in 1887 and is listed as the shortest street in the world by Guinness World Records, with a length of only 2.06 meters. This street has only one address, which is the Mackays Hotel.

Kiwi eggs are 20 percent of their mother's body size and can weigh up to 0.5 kg.
In comparison, a human baby is only 5 percent the size of its mother's body. As a result of the large size of the egg, kiwi bird eggs contain a lot of yolk, so that kiwi babies when hatching immediately have a lot of feathers, are healthy, and are large in size.

The Dodo bird (Raphus cucullatus) was variously described as a small ostrich, railbird, albatross, and vulture by early scientists. In 1842, Danish zoologist Johannes Theodor Reinhardt proposed that the Dodo was a type of land pigeon (family: Columbidae), based on research on the skull of the Dodo bird he found, which is now in the collection of the Danish Museum of Natural History.
This proposal was also supported by British naturalists Hugh Edwin Strickland and Alexander Gordon Melville in their 1848 monograph entitled "The Dodo and Its Kindred". After dissecting the head and legs of a preserved Dodo specimen at the Oxford University Museum, and comparing it with another species of pigeon named Rodrigues Solitaire (Pezophaps solitaria) that has also become extinct, they concluded that the two are closely related (one subfamily).
Strickland and Melville concluded that the Dodo bird is anatomically similar to a pigeon in many ways. The keratinized beak is very short, with a long and slender basal part. Other pigeons also have skin around their eyes that almost reaches their beaks, which is also seen in Dodo. Its high forehead and ysng nostrils are located low in the middle of the beak and surrounded by skin, suggesting a combination of features that only a group of pigeons possess.
The feet of the Dodo bird are also generally more similar to the legs of land pigeons than to other birds, both in their scales and skeletal features. The depiction of a large cache also hints at its relationship with a group of pigeons, where this feature is more developed than other types of birds. The Dodo bird has a difference from other pigeons especially in its small wing size and large beak size compared to its skull.

Dolphins seem to have a permanent smile and look friendly, but don't be fooled by their "big smiles", as these marine mammals are still one of the top marine predators. For this reason, it is important to keep our distance if we encounter dolphins in the wild, since they are known to also attack humans, and in one very rare case, such an attack can even be fatal.
The dolphin involved in the fatal incident was known by the name Tião, a male Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops sp.) that was made famous in 1994 for its unusual 'familiarity' with humans. He regularly interacts with humans and stops by the pier in São Sebastião, Brazil, almost every day. Unfortunately, some people abuse Tião's belief in humans. According to a report from the BBC, some people grabbed his fins and tried to hitchhike on him, and even inserted ice cream sticks into Tião's spray hole. And in the end, Tião's patience began to run out.
The dolphin reacted aggressively when repeatedly harassed, and eventually injured about 29 swimmers, who were then rushed to the hospital with minor injuries. On December 8, 1994, Tião hit a 30-year-old swimmer who died hours later from internal bleeding due to a ruptured stomach, which became the first case of death by a dolphin. Another swimmer was also injured at the time, they reportedly had tried to ride Tião and attach objects to the dolphin's tail shortly before the incident.
The deaths sparked a management program designed to prevent further injuries or deaths by raising public awareness of harmful interactions, and how those interactions can have serious consequences for humans, as well as wild animals. The program appears to be effective as there are no more reports of injuries. And sometime in 1995, Tião left São Sebastião and was nowhere to be seen. Because of his actions, he got the nickname "The Killer Dolphin".

Armadillos (order: Cingulata) are unique mammals from the Americas. This animal has the characteristic of a hard protective shell that almost protects its entire body. Many say that the shell is bulletproof, but this is not entirely the case. Armadillo shells are made of bone plates called osteodermata that grow on the skin, loosely connected for flexibility and covered by a layer of keratin, which is the protein that makes up hair and nails.
This shell protects Armadillo from thorny bushes to predators. But, if a predator like a big cat attacks it, they can still easily break its shell. Thus, the Armadillo's shell is more like armor than a bulletproof vest. However, the Armadillo's shell can turn bullets.
In 2015 in Georgia, a man named Larry McElroy (54) shot an Armadillo around his house (in some areas it is indeed considered a pest animal). The bullet killed the Armadillo, but unexpectedly, the bullet bounced off the fence, injuring a 74-year-old woman (McErlroy's father-in-law) despite only minor injuries.

Cemani chicken is a native Indonesian chicken known for its uniqueness, which is almost the entire body is black. This black color is not only found in feathers and skin, but also in meat, bones, tongue, and internal organs. This uniqueness is due to a genetic mutation called fibromelanosis, which over-increases the production of melanin throughout the body.
In addition, Cemani chickens have high cultural value in Indonesia, are often used in traditional rituals, and are considered to bring good luck in some areas. Due to its rarity and specialty, this chicken has a very high selling value, even known internationally as "The Lamborghini of Poultry."

Wood frogs in Alaska can indeed freeze during the winter. When it froze, his heart stopped beating, he didn't breathe, and all his organs stopped working.
However, before that, his body produces a special substance like glucose that protects cells from ice damage. As spring arrives and temperatures rise, the ice melts, and the organs function again. The frog also lived again as usual.
Alaskan wood frogs can survive temperatures ranging from -9 degrees Celsius to -18 degrees Celsius

Scorpions are able to survive up to 12 months without eating because they have a very low metabolism, so the energy from their last meal can be stored for a long time.
In addition, the scorpion's body glows under ultraviolet light because its outer shell, or exoskeleton, contains a special substance that makes it fluorescent. This phenomenon likely serves to help them detect light or protect against UV radiation.
