(🇬🇧 below) ΔΕΝ ΓΙΝΕΤΑΙ ΝΑ ΧΑΣΕΙΣ αυτή την εκδρομή στο Βιετνάμ 🇻🇳

Πάμε να δούμε τι κάναμε με το :

1. Πήγαμε σε ένα μέρος σαν εργοστάσιο όπου φτιάχνουν διάφορους πίνακες κλπ. 🎨

2. Πήγαμε στα Cu Chi Tunnels και μπήκαμε μέσα σε ένα τούνελ, περπατήσαμε για 100 μέτρα! Ήταν πολύ στενά και σκοτεινά αλλά μια από τις καλύτερες εμπειρίες για να μάθεις περισσότερα για τον πόλεμο στο Βιετνάμ! 😍

3. Πήγαμε 2 διαφορετικές κρουαζιέρες στο Mekong Delta, ένα ποτάμι που μοιράζονται 6 χώρες 😨

4. Δοκιμάσαμε τροπικά φρούτα ενώ μας τραγουδούσαν παραδοσιακά τραγούδια! 🥭

5. Φάγαμε πολύυυυ 😂😂😂

Let’s see what we did with :

1. We went to a place like a factory where they make various paintings etc. 🎨

2. We went to Cu Chi Tunnels and went inside a tunnel, we walked for 100 meters! It was very cramped and dark but one of the best experiences to learn more about the Vietnam War! 😍

3. We went on 2 different cruises in the Mekong Delta, a river shared between 6 countries 😨

4. We tasted tropical fruits while traditional songs were sung to us! 🥭

5. We ate a lot 😂😂😂

On 30/1 Kalia had her birthday so we decided to not work and have all the time for us and our relationship.

Chao Anouvong was the last monarch of the Vientiane kingdom. 😱

Anouvong succeeded to the throne in 1805 upon the death of his brother.

Anouvong led the Lao rebellion 1826-1828 attempt to end the suzerainty of Siam and recreate the former kingdom of Lan Xang. 🤯

Anuwong failed in both of his attempts to resist the Siamese attack 😰

The kingdom of Vientiane was abolished, its population was forcibly moved to Siam, and its former territories fell under the direct control of the Siamese provincial administration.

Laos Day 5 | Vientiane

Today we visited the Patuxai Monument or Gate of Triumph!!

Dedicated to the people who fought for independence from France.

You can go up to the monument as well (especially to watch the sunset) and it only costs 3,000 Kip (less than 0,50€ 😱)!!

Definitely worth visiting for its beauty 😍

Did you know? 😱

Wat Chalong was built at the beginning on 19th century.

Its real name is Wat Chaiyathararam.

Wat Chalong is the largest of Phuket's temples, and the most visited.

The most recent building on the grounds of Wat Chalong is a 60 meters tall 'Chedi' sheltering a splinter of bone from Buddha 🤯

Wat Chalong Chedi is built on the 3rd floor.
We recommend you to go on the top floor terrace to get a nice view on the entire temple grounds. Few more steps will lead you to a glass display where the fragment of bone can be contemplated 😍

Thailand day 27 | Koh Samui

Today we visited Wat Plai Laem temple.

We learned so much about the stories behind the temples there.

For example, about Guanyin the Goddess of mercy and love and the laughing Buddha who loves good food and drinks haha 😂 That’s why in the western world he is known as the Fat Buddha! 😂

We really like learning new things about the temples as it’s very interesting for us to get to know about other cultures and religions!

We’ll tell you more about them on our vlog coming soon 😍

Also, we booked our tickets to Koh Phangan through BookAway for 5€ each! We’re going there tomorrow and can’t wait to explore yet another Thai island 😍🏝️

Thailand day 22 | Koh Samui

Today we didn't do much, because it rained all day 😭

We woke up and went to the cafe in front of the beach. We organized our trips a bit and had breakfast 🤩

Then Sergei went to get the motorbike. We went for a walk in Central Samui and found the best currency exchange on the island 👏

Then we had lunch which was delicious and cost 250 baht (6.8€) 😍

Lastly, we came home at night, had some ice cream and went for a night swim because our bungalow is in front of the beach and it was super romantic with us like we are really leaving our best lives🙏

Thailand day 21 | Koh Samui

We booked our tickets from Krabi to Koh Samui with”Bookaway”.

Our trip from Krabi to Surat Thani was great 🤗

In Surat Thani we changed mini bus which took us to Donsak pier 🚌

We had 1 hour until the boat left for Koh Samui, so we decided to have our lunch at a restaurant inside the port 🤩

The food was perfect! each dish was 80 baht (€2.20)😍

After an hour we started and the journey was short and pleasant (if you exclude the rain)🥹

When we arrived in Koh Samui we took the "bus" to go to our bungalow in lamai beach 🏝️

The bungalow is gorgeous and we can't wait to show you how it looks like tomorrow 😍

📍 Castle of Ioannina

1. It’s free to get inside 💵

2. It’s very big and you can see also other stuff inside 🥰

3. You can do it by yourself because there are signs explaining some history but if you want to learn more you can also get a guide 😍

4. There’s a little café there so if you’d like to take your morning coffee there’s this cute little spot ☕️

5. Get there before 10am and you’ll most likely have it all to yourself 🤯

6. Inside the walls around the castle, there are many cute houses and stores to explore 😍

7. Don’t forget to stroll around the narrow streets for picturesque views and the smell of colourful roses 🌹

Save ✅ this for later and don’t forget to visit Ioannina for your next trip to Greece 🇬🇷😍
