Job Description:

Assistant Video Editor

We are looking for an AE with deep Adobe Premier skills. The role will be primarily focused on pulling relevant video clips from current film and TV series for short form promos, and assembling the timelines for the video editors as well as packaging final audio/video elements for delivery.

This is more of a technical role than a creative storytelling role, so we are in search of someone that enjoys the details of getting things put together precicely and going over work to make sure it's in pristine condition.

This would be a great fit for someone interested in post production audio as well. PT. Naga Film Indonesia operates primarily as "Naga Mix", an international post production audio house. When there is gap in assistant video editor work, the focus will switch to assisting the sound editors with Pro Tools session setup and management.

Requirements

-College graduate
-Currently located in Bali
-Ability to work flexible schedules (some weeks are very busy and we work through the weekends, some weeks are slow and we only work a couple of days)
-An active passion for film and technology
-Familiarity with Mac computers
-Indonesian Citizen

Compensation

-Compensation dependent on experience and skill level
-Base monthly Salary with daily work bonuses to accommodate flexible scheduling.

If you're looking for something fun to watch this weekend, check out Making Fun on Netflix. This was the most fun I've had in a long time working on a show. The editors did a fantastic job and really opened it up for some weird and creative sound moments. A lot of colleagues from the past came together on this show and I really think it turned out great. Really happy that I was able to get my team working on this as well. Even though we weren't able to get them all credited on this, big shout out to Reza and Amin here on the Naga Mix team for your help!
