Budapest Piano Competition The competition is open to musicians of any nationality born after October 13 1982.

The competition aims to offer two talented pianists the opportunity to perform Beethoven’s II piano Concerto in B flat op. 19 with Budapest Symphony Orchestra MÁV in Verdi Grand Hall in Budapest on October 13 2017 and a recital during Virtuoso & Belcanto Festival 2018 in Lucca (Italy). The winner will be chosen by a jury whose President is M° Tamas Vásáry and composed by eminent musicians from Hun

gary, Italy, France and Poland. The two selected pianists will receive a scholarship of €1000,00 each and will be recommended to prestigious concert institutions in Europe.
