A rare and breathtaking sunrise where the clouds over Pest seemed to part just above the Danube. Through this narrow gap, golden light poured in, illuminating the city with striking rays. The contrast between the shadowed clouds and radiant beams felt like nature’s spotlight on Budapest - a one of a kind moment.

Every autumn, Tata’s Lake Öreg becomes a sanctuary for over 30,000 wild geese, making it one of the most spectacular bird migrations in Hungary. These geese are stopping over to rest and refuel during their long journey from northern breeding grounds to warmer wintering spots. Watching them fill the sky is an unforgettable experience—a true festival of nature!
The best time to catch this breathtaking sight? Early morning or at dusk, when the geese take off in massive, synchronized flocks.
