In the age of the „laptop DJs“ flood, we invented the tool to extract the best upcoming DJ talents from the mass. If the best DJ is the one most listened by the audience then „Silent DJ Contest“ flawlessly finds the best one out of 9 competitors in 4 hours lasting contest. It's the first time that 3 DJs performing simultaneously under the same condition and in front of the same audience. All comp
etitors perform for one hour, three finalists perform additional hour. And we do it silently, which means wherever it is imaginable.
„Silent DJ Contest“ is the uprising talent spring board, within 4 hours winner out of 9 DJs, no jury, no mixes, just the DJ and the audience and that's it. For competitors: Three competitors perform simultaneously (red, green and blue), no monitors, no speakers, audience follows the competition over „CP1“ headphones which communicate chosen channel via RGB LED. Official judge observe which LED color is in majority and measure the time it lasts. Competitors are changed each 60'. Competition results are visible at the screen in real time. After the first three rounds we have a finalists, the winner of the night is extracted in the 4th hour. Basic stage equipment for each competitor: 2 x Pioneer CDJ100 + 1 x Pioneer DJM 300S,
For audience: You shall follow the competition over „CP1“ headphones. You can rent/lend the headphones at the entrance, ID deposit is obligatory. When you take over headphones and leave ID as a deposit you will receive a piece of paper with the number, keep it up to the end, it will help us to find your ID when you wish to return the headphones. Put on headphones, adjust the volume, browse channels and choose the one that makes you dance. Change the floor whenever you like by simple button pressing, no need to go anywhere. Enjoy the night and treat the headphones as it is yours, return it undamaged and we'll give you back your ID. If in any case you loose or damage the headphones we will charge it to you up to 60 EUR. We are convinced that you know better way to spend 60 EUR and to us those headphones value three times that price, therefore please return it undamaged and completely functional, and thank you for that.
