I've been married to my husband for 10 years, and after struggling to have a child, we decided to adopt. My husband, a busy businessman, didn't have the time to focus on the process, so I took it upon myself to call agencies, submit paperwork, and review lists of children in need of homes.
We initially planned to adopt an infant, but the demand was high. Then I found a photo of a 3-year-old boy whose mother had abandoned him. The boy's big blue eyes captured my heart.
When I showed the photo to my husband, he liked Sam too. We talked it over and felt ready for this commitment.
So, we completed the paperwork and a month later, we brought Sam home. I was overjoyed! My husband even offered to bathe him for the first time to build a connection, and I felt so relieved that he was excited about becoming a dad.
But just a minute after they entered the bathroom, my husband ran out and shouted, "WE MUST RETURN HIM!"⬇️

This past year has been rough. My husband left, and I've been raising our 7-year-old son alone. Thanksgiving felt like a shadow of what it used to be—no turkey, no pies, no decorations. Just me and my son at our old dining table, reminiscing about better times.
My son deserved more, so when my ex invited us to spend Thanksgiving with his new wife, Jill, I reluctantly agreed. Jill is perfect—a blonde bombshell and a domestic goddess—everything I'm not. But I'll do whatever it takes to make my son happy, even if it means swallowing my pride.
Walking into their home, I was struck by how flawless everything was. The decorations looked straight out of a magazine, the smell of roasted turkey filled the air, and Jill greeted us with a warm smile. I forced a polite compliment, but deep down, I felt completely out of place.
What truly broke me was my son's reaction. He was in awe of Jill. He gushed about her decorations, declared her turkey the best he'd ever tasted, and couldn't stop talking about the expensive gifts she had given him. I felt invisible, like I didn't matter. Still, I held it together—until my son stood up to say what he was thankful for.
"I'm thankful for Dad," he began. "And I'm thankful for Jill. She makes the best desserts and got me the video game I've wanted forever. And…" His voice trailed off, and the words that followed made my heart sink.👇

🤣 JOKE OF THE DAY 🤣 : A woman was in bed with her lover when she heard her husband opening the front door.
'Hurry,' she said, 'stand in the corner.'
She rubbed baby oil all over him, then dusted him with talcum powder. 'Don't move until I tell you,' she said. 'Pretend you're a statue.'
