Reading-to-Camera With the Video Cha Cha Autocue System is Rea...
Here at Video Cha Cha we have invested in a state-of-the-art Autocue system which makes it really easy for you to deliver your scripts to camera without the risk of humming, ahhhing and fluffing your lines.
To prepare for your session, we need to receive your scripts at least 24 hours before you record so that we can upload and cue your content in advance allowing you the maximum shooting time in each hour.
To do this you simply send us each script, one-at-a-time, via email or upload from our website. Please make sure each talk-to-camera script you send has a subject line separate from the script itself, identifying the content for easy shoot management.
Also, please send your script as a single paragraph without any line breaks, although you can punctuate your words normally.
This will allow you to read your script in a conversational style seamlessly without any unnatural breaks as you wait for the Autocue to deliver the next line to read.
Doing it this way, enables the most bang for your buck and maximizes the number of scripts you can squeeze into each one hour in-studio session.
And if you choose to self-produce your own videos from your shot footage, your cost per video production could be as little as 100 Hong Kong dollars each, assuming you shoot 10 scripts in 45 minutes, which is entirely possible so long as you practice your Autocue reading in advance of your shoot (and which you can do here via our website).

The Lessons We Have Learned About Website Video Production in HK
In 2011, I realized that the key to business success in a network economy is to produce high quality website content that helps people solve problems or answers their questions.
To this end, video was to be an integral part of that content mix.
But very quickly I came to understand that developing high quality videos for my websites was going to be inordinately expensive and simply not achievable.
This is due to the fact that the video services industry in Hong Kong is largely fragmented and mainly geared to sizable businesses who have significant marketing and video content development budgets.
So where does that leave modestly sized businesses like yours and mine?
Indeed, producing just one video, never mind an ongoing series, was going to cost several thousand Hong Kong Dollars taking in video shooting, set selection and post production.
So, if I wanted video, I was going to have to do it all myself. So I did.
In the last 3 years I have learned that the continuous production of high quality videos is a simple matter of working to a formula.
