Bar Leone, recently recognized as the top bar in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024, has partnered with the neo-Neapolitan pizzeria Falcone to host a unique event titled "roma vs napoli" on September 8.

From 4pm onwards, Bar Leone will become a vibrant showcase of Italian cuisine, featuring five signature dishes from Chef Josh Stumbaugh of Falcone, including carciofi e stracciatella (HK$120), frittatina di pasta (HK$98), rigatoni alla genovese (HK$150), penne al pomodoro (HK$110), and spaghetti alla maradona (HK$110), the latter being a tribute to football legend Diego Maradona's favorite dish.

Additionally, a special dessert, Leone tiramisu (HK$90), will be available exclusively for the event. Bar Leone's founder and cocktail expert, Lorenzo Antinori, will also craft a selection of cocktails that blend Roman and Neapolitan flavors to celebrate this special occasion.

Wakaran offers a lunch menu on weekdays from noon to 3pm, with two-course options (HK$148) and three-course options (HK$168; HK$178 with a beverage).

Starters include miso soup with lobster, pomelo salad with crispy miso, and fried chicken in yuzu honey sauce. Mains feature soya scallion oil tagliatelle, crispy mapo tofu with chicken and crab, and slow-cooked wagyu beef cheek with a sweet beetroot sauce. For dessert, choose between matcha tiramisu cake or mango pomelo sago.

You could also try new dinner dishes by Chef Tsui, including chicken wings with yuzu kosho romesco for (HK$39 per stick; minimum two), grilled and topped with a sweet-tangy sauce.

Seafood lovers can try pepper tiger prawns (HK$238) stir-fried in a spicy pepper sauce, and hibachi hanger steak (HK$338) served with a tangy blue cheese and fermented bean curd sauce.

Royal Plaza Hotel's Lion Rock presents the Lion Rock Chinese Omakase Menu - Tang Poetries.

Available until July31, Chef Ricky Kong created the unique menu offers nine-course (HK$798) and 12-course (HK$1,547) options that bring to life the emotions and themes of Tang poems.

The menu starts with cold yuzu noodles, smoked pomfret in vinegar sauce and cheese curd, beetroots, followed by abalone and egg yolk. Soup serves fish maw, conpoy and crucian carp.

Both menus serve mains of halibut with spicy tomato sauce, Alaska king crab with crispy black garlic, pigeon with boletus mushroom, lemongrass and wagyu oxtail and basil. For 12-course, you would enjoy three more dishes of chicken, tiger prawn and bird nest.

Rice soup with sea cucumber, okra and sparassis crispa will be served before dessert, which is a uji matcha, red bean and mochi cake.

Cafe Marco is excited to introduce three new buffets to celebrate the summer season until Aug 31.

The Nostalgic Cart Noodle lunch buffet (HK$385 for weekdays; HK$438 for weekends) offers guests a chance to create their own personalized cart noodles with authentic Hong Kong flavors.

The Fruity Summer tea buffet (HK$348) showcases desserts with vibrant summer fruit flavors like coconut mango cheesecake and fresh fruit sushi.

The dinner buffet (HK$635 for weekdays; HK$688 for weekends) features a special steak experience with tomahawk beef and prime rib, as well as international dishes like German-style roast beef salad and braised oxtail in Indonesian style.

Aqua Restaurant Group's sister restaurants, Hutong and aqua, offer special lunch options: Dim Sum Parade at Hutong and All About Sushi at aqua.

Hutong's Dim Sum Parade (HK$328 for a 75-minute free-flow option) is available until August 26, featuring a diverse selection of dim sum dishes, including signature items like Charcoal yu xiang crispy pork dumplings, pickled pepper har gau and abalone slices with peppercorn sauce.

aqua's All About Sushi (HK$HK$388 for a 75-minute free-flow option) presents unlimited sushi and Italian bites. Enjoy unlimited serving of refreshing spicy negitoro, seared salmon and California rolls. Follow with your choice of simmered wagyu beef don or charcoal-grilled black cod marinated with saikyo miso. All About Sushi is available until August 23.

Cruise Restaurant and Bar at Hyatt Centric Victoria is offering Summer Afternoon Tea set (HK$688 for two) with complimentary 3-hour access to the hotel's rooftop infinity pool and changing facilities with sauna and steam room.

Tea set starts with a glass of prosecco and rose, savories serve up steamed crab roll, lobster bun, mango avocado rice paper roll, smoked salmon tramezzino and iberico ham toast. Sweet treats include honeydew melon tart, tofu blancmange, lychee-butterfly pea crystal ball and pina colada mousse.

Live stations offer all-you-can-eat matcha and black bean scones, you could pair with clotted cream, longan jam and pandan custard, croffles with ube whipped cream and a selection of seasonal ice cream.

Summer Afternoon Tea set is available until Aug 31.

Newly opened RightSideUp is a vintage bar and music room which introduces a fusion of American flavors with modern twists in its menu.

Featuring snacks such as The Best Fried Pickles (HK$78) with jalapeno ranch, buffalo blues (HK$88) with blue cheese dip and million layer potatoes (HK$88). For main, it serves spicy baked ziti (HK$128), Baby Got Back Ribs (from HK$128) and Highyway to Hell Burger (HK$178), the burger is topped with ghost and cherry peppers.

Serving American cocktails with a creative spin, expect Spicy Granny (HK$118), Retro Sour (HK$118) and Philly Martini (HK$108). It also has a variety of highball and non-alcoholic drinks.
